• From any saintleo.edu webpage, use the
“Find it fast” tool and select Library from the
list
• Logon to my.saintleo.edu and select Library
from the landing page
• Within your LearningStudio classroom,
choose Library from the Resources tab

4. What are peer-reviewed articles?

• Ask a librarian to check if you are not
certain about a source
• The databases provide a “filter” or “limiter”
checkbox to select peer-reviewed and/or
scholarly materials
• Database publishers also vet articles
before labeling them peer-reviewed

• Examine the search interface for a
checkbox indicating peer-review/scholarly
format
• Results of your search will now be limited
to only the type of material you have
checked off
