Universal Design is the process of making materials, goods, and environments usable by all people through flexible design. It has three main principles - providing multiple means of presentation, action and expression, and engagement. This allows for options in how information is perceived and understood, how people navigate and respond to their environment, and how they are motivated to engage with tasks.
