media texts and be able to provide
explanation as to why and how
discourse works.
This study will seek how
text are analyzed,
interpreted and explained
and understand as well how
discourse is implicated.

How the various statements function
at each level of language?

The descriptive research methodology
will be applied to describe the analyzed
text from the written editorials on papers
based on the framework of the study. An
editorial page of a newspaper served as
the research instrument of the study.
Specifically, a local newspaper that
talked about factual events or social
issues will be the criteria.
