This document provides guidance on writing effective narratives for compliance certification reports submitted to SACSCOC. It discusses deconstructing the standards to identify their scope and aspects, common shortcomings to avoid, tips for crafting concise yet comprehensive narratives, and the importance of consistency and honesty. The key recommendations are to clearly define all relevant terms, address each component of each standard, support all claims with evidence, and declare any noncompliance openly rather than attempting to disguise it. Revision teams are assigned and deadlines of 6 weeks and April 15th are established.
