This document discusses a unique water treatment process from SureWaters that can reduce operational costs for industries. It introduces a process that can eliminate chemicals, allow for water reuse internally, and potentially create a valuable byproduct. The process involves electrocoagulation which uses sacrificial electrodes to dose water with metal ions and bubbles to cluster pollutants for removal, allowing treated water to be reused for various purposes like cooling, cleaning, and potentially making water potable again. Trial results show the process can remove over 90% of fats, oils, and grease as well as total suspended solids and reduce chemical oxygen demand. Adopting this process could significantly reduce a company's water usage and effluent disposal costs.
