What is LDAP
• LDAP or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is a networking protocol
for querying and modifying directory services running over TCP/IP. It’s a
light version of X.500 protocol.
• LDAP is the most diffused protocol for implementing General Purpose
Directories, such as white pages, email addresses and public keys.
• Commonly, LDAP is named as a database or directory manager but this is
improper: LDAP is a protocol used to communicate to so called LDAP
Servers in order to exchange information organized in directories (X.500
model): a tree of entries, each of which consists of a set of named attributes
with values, such as Domain Name System (DNS).
• Its current version is LDAPv3, as specified in a series of IETF Standard

There are nine nuclear power plants in Spain, all of
them owned by consortiums of Spanish electricity

Combined annual production runs at 25,000GWh
with output distributed over the Spanish national
grid. All three plants started operating in the 1980s.
