Easter is the central religious feast in the Christian world which celebrates Jesus rising from death on the third day after his crucifixion. It is a moveable feast that falls on the first Sunday after the full moon that follows the March equinox. Armenians celebrate Easter through gathering for prayer and meditation on Jesus' passion, death, and resurrection. Symbols of Easter include eggs, bunnies, candles, crosses, and images of Christ representing both Christian and pagan traditions of springtime.
