- Job description
The Chair is key to ensuring EARLABS delivers on its ambitious
vision and business plan and continues to make a positive
difference to hearing protection and soon ear- and headphone
market.
The board makes a wide-ranging contribution to the business:
• Sets the overall strategic direction
• Monitors delivery ensuring standards of governance are
upheld
• Assesses business development, risk management,
performance management and internal control.
The Board Members are key to ensuring that EARLABS continue
to remain a vibrant, viable and customer-centric organization.
As Chair, you will support both the Board, the Executive Team
and the Investors in meeting its strategic, commercial and
financial objectives ensuring at all times that EARLABS meet their
statutory and regulatory obligations in line with the vision and
mission of the Organisation.
As an ambassador for the Organisation, you will seek to network
and promote the associations work.
This is a prestigious appointment demanding a high level of
commitment. Senior level executive and leadership experience
are essential requirements, as is previous board experience.
EARLABS offers you the opportunity to be part of a thriving and
developing organisation who are driving forward standards in the
hearing protection, ear- and headphone market.
Expected activity level is min. 4 board meetings per year plus ad
hoc sparring with the management team.
