-Did you ever have
difficulty
remembering that last
step of the exercise?
-Or feeling confused how
the professor went from
one point to another?
Well our platform will
help you with that.
What is this platform?
We help connecting students and professors, and make the learning process more
enjoyable.
How can we do that?
Our app will facilitate the learning experience, by having an interface where
professors OR students upload a video with explanation/ comments/ voice-over.
Students will then share their feedback and suggest a certain topic for the professor
to cover up on upcoming tutorials.
This app will reduce time and effort on both ends, as the expectations are clear and
any misunderstandings are resolved.
How the project was born
● Students have other important obligations
besides school
● Inability to concentrate
● Multiple subjects to focus on
● Information tends to be forgotten
● Wasting time on misleading sources online
from amateurs
● Not enough time to read hard-copy books
Project Life Cycles
-Develop a project scope:
Define all the necessary goals, deliverables,
features, functions, tasks, deadlines
and costs of the project.
-Develop a Work Breakdown
Structure:
After the roles of each project member
are assigned in Project Charter, the work
to be executed by the team is defined in
a deliverable oriented hierarchical
decomposition.
-Testing and Maintaintenance:
It constantly checks and keeps software
updated to deal with changing technical
and business environment.
-Develop a project charter:
Define roles and responsibilities, identifies the
main stakeholders, and defines the authority of the
project manager. Have all participants agree and
sign upon these agreed criterias.
How we managed our team
Every work was divided into individual teams that are responsible for specific tasks.
These teams will be coordinated and supervised by team leaders, and they will have a
weekly meeting to discuss the development process, progress or request for help if
behind the target.
Developers will participate in smaller building blocks. Team leaders supervise, help and
provide them with resources. Project Manager coordinates with team leaders and
guides them in the right track of project work.
Staff had agreed upon to work on workdays, and work on weekends if they are behind
the schedule.
Objectives
-In House team composition
We aim that the project’s participants should
be CIT students. This will enhance their
knowledge, skills and make them a valuable
addition for CIT. It’ll motivate them to do a
better job because their peers will be the
testers and users of their system.
Cross-platform availability
Our goal is for the platform to be accessible
on any device, be it your smartphone,
desktop, etc. We also included a download
option so the videos can be accessible
offline.
Cloud Data Storage
Project will be saved on online
data storage, thus having 24/7
platform uptime, backup solutions and
technical support.
Build a stronger community
Create a stronger bond between
instructors to students, and students to
students (explained below).
Features
Chat System
Aside from the comment section, a chat system will
be implemented. The chat will have features like
form groups of a subject, class, year, student’s
projects on a subject, etc. This will shake of any
rigidness the comment section might create.
Forum System
A forum system will also be a great addition and
it’s implemented on all serious institutions.
Students can share project ideas, complaints,
suggestions to the institute or platform, or for
help on a certain topic. The most relevant and
helpful comments/ posts can be upvoted by
users to be shown higher in the list or be sorted
by creation date.
Video Uploading
As mentioned before, the platform’s main theme
will be revolved around uploading helpful videos/
tutorials and all discussion will be extended upon
this.
Comment System
It can help students ask on anything they didn’t
find clear in the video
Expected Project Impact
International recognition
Ownership of an in-house software will get their
attention and turn people’s heads CIT’s way. CIT’s
diplomas will gain an international reputation and
be acknowledged as an Institution who nurtures
successful intellectuals.
Improved feedback
This means the students will have an
infrastructure to express their opinions,
suggestions or complaints freely and their words
to have influence. This will avoid bureaucracies
like writing excessive email/ complaints/ polls
and not being into consideration. Their initiatives
and suggestions will be heard and put into good
use. Students for students!
Enhance Marketing
Having a personal platform will make our
institution privileged in comparison to other
universities, and can serve as a great publicity
for the institute. Not only it will benefit the
current students and professors, it will also
attract potential students to apply and be a part
of it.
Marketing
Among the main objectives of our project is the setup of an effective dissemination
activity and to ensure that what is going to be implemented, will be able to involve a
broad audience during the project life cycle and beyond it.
Social Medias are a major trend nowadays, and can spread information fast. There are
no barriers according to knowledge or location, and is accessed by anyone without any
fees. Promoting campaigns by paying can reach a greater target group and increase
engagement.
Research publications, scientific newspapers, blogs, websites can spread the
information in a more structured, detailed, scientific manner.

Since developers
carry the most

most of the funds

We need the right

right system. This
includes servers,

Screening through

selecting the right
