The document outlines 5 steps to enhance lectures and video clips: 1) Teachers create and edit presentations using lecture capture, desktop recording, or Presentain ingestion. 2) Teachers create playlists to organize related clips. 3) Teachers make clips interactive by adding quizzes using ClipQuest. 4) Teachers enrich clips with related materials. 5) Students engage with existing materials by selecting and annotating clip segments using the Virtual Cutter tool.
3 scenarios where predictive analytics is a must!Edureka!
The document discusses three scenarios where predictive analytics is essential: churn prediction, sentiment analysis, and recommendation. Churn prediction involves using historical customer data and predictive models to identify which customers are most likely to stop using or purchasing a company's products and services. Sentiment analysis determines the attitude or emotional state behind a text through natural language processing. Recommendation systems apply predictive modeling to suggest additional products to customers based on their preferences and behaviors.
This document provides an overview of techniques for airline revenue management that have been developed between 1982 and 2001. It summarizes the key concepts and approaches for the seat inventory control problem, which involves allocating a flight's finite seat capacity to maximize revenue over time. The document outlines static and dynamic, single-leg and network solution methods. Static single-leg approaches determine optimal booking limits for fare classes based on demand forecasts, while dynamic methods use booking data over time. Network solutions optimize across connected flight segments simultaneously.

Yes, tourist attractions could benefit from applying yield management principles. Here are some examples of how they could implement it:
- Offer different ticket prices for peak vs off-peak times, with higher prices during peak summer months and holidays and lower prices in the off-season.
- Offer early bird discounts for tickets purchased far in advance but increase prices as the date gets closer.
- Implement different ticket categories like general admission vs VIP tours with amenities to segment customers by willingness to pay.
- Use dynamic pricing that adjusts ticket prices in real-time based on current and forecasted demand levels. Prices would rise on busy dates and fall when demand is low.
- Overbook VIP tours or special
This document provides questions and answers related to renal system BCQs (board certification questions). It covers topics like nephrotic syndrome, renal stones, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, prostate issues, and renal cancers. The questions are in multiple choice format and cover definitions, presentations, investigations, management options, and other clinical aspects of various kidney-related diseases.
This document discusses how to calculate special IATA fares and deal with their restrictions. There are different types of special fares like excursion fares and advance purchase fares, with varying restrictions. To determine the applicable fare, analyze the itinerary against the restrictions in the fare rules, starting with the lowest fare. Restrictions include number of stopovers, minimum and maximum trip durations. Once the applicable fare is found, note the fare basis and establish the valid travel windows. Finally, explain the fare rules to the client and issue the ticket.
Transfer and generalization of monetary estimatesOECD Environment
This document discusses possibilities and challenges in transferring monetary estimates for environmental and health benefits of regulating chemicals. It defines value transfer and outlines requirements like databases of studies, quality assessment guidelines, and transfer methods. Challenges include translating risk assessments to valued endpoints, lack of primary studies, scaling issues, and accounting for interactions between chemicals. Tentative approaches include improving existing assessments and utilizing literature on disability-adjusted life years, but there are still large knowledge gaps, particularly around dose-response functions and valuation of new health and environmental impacts.

The document discusses the evolution of wireless mesh networking technologies. It describes how early ad hoc networks led to developments in wireless sensor networks and wireless mesh networks (WMNs). WMNs provide wireless infrastructure by replacing wired networks with self-configuring, flexible wireless links. This allows for easier deployment in areas where wired infrastructure is not feasible or too expensive. The document outlines ongoing research into heterogeneous mesh networking using multiple wireless technologies to create high-capacity access networks for future applications.
The document outlines MobiMESH technology, which includes a wireless multihop backbone network and access points that allow Wi-Fi clients to connect. The backbone uses a radio-aware routing protocol to avoid interference. Mobility management allows clients to seamlessly roam between access points. The network is configured and managed centrally using a management system.
