This document describes an Environment and Language Integrated Learning project for young learners. The project aims to actively involve pupils in their learning through challenging contexts that develop higher-order thinking skills, autonomous learning, creativity, and meaningful use of English. Teachers provide accessible resources, scaffolding, learning strategies, and technological support to help students become independent learners who learn from and with their peers using available resources. The project involves environmental studies, an eTwinning platform, and Web 2.0 tools to connect schools across Europe and have students communicate, collaborate, share, create, and learn together by making boards, games, wordles, posters, writing, avatars, fact-files, and more.
