The executive board meeting minutes discussed plans for recruitment (rush) events in January and February including sending invitations, visiting classes, setting a goal of 250 new members, and hosting information tables with raffles and candy. Fundraising events of a cookie dough sale and a February event were mentioned. Social events planned included bowling, a movie night, potluck dinner, and rock climbing. The minutes also discussed community service at a soup kitchen, shoveling/salting driveways, and adopting a highway. Preparations were mentioned for a speaker about graduate admissions and the Scholarcon conference in March.
