The speaker from Michigan Talent Connect promoted staying and working in Michigan after graduation, focusing on cities like Detroit, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Flint, and Mount Pleasant. Upcoming events included a speaker from Mount Pleasant on March 20th and a trip to Detroit on March 28th. The organization was still selling t-shirts as a fundraiser and holding a raffle to raise money. Community service opportunities in March included volunteering at an animal shelter and adopting a highway. Social events for the month were a game night and a Pow Wow social. The group discussed volunteering for March to College Day on March 28th and reminded members to nominate officers for the upcoming school year.
