1. Mike Kohl has erected a 26-foot antenna tower on his property in Plain, Wisconsin where he has installed 16 satellite dishes to receive television channels from around the world.
2. He built the tower himself in 2002 out of old telephone poles to raise the antennas above the trees and has three platforms on it, including a bench where he likes to sit and enjoy the view.
3. Mike has extensive experience with satellite reception going back to his time in the military in 1973 when he learned to install satellite systems in Alaska and was one of the first to receive early satellite television channels there.
