This document provides instructions for setting up a home streaming TV solution using a PC, capture card, and digital TV receiver. The PC can be remotely powered on via Wake-on-LAN to access live TV streams over the Internet. Port forwarding is configured on the home router to allow external access to the PC for Wake-on-LAN signals, video/audio streaming, and receiver control via a web interface. Free software like Windows Media Encoder is used to compress and transmit the video/audio feeds from the capture card to any Internet-connected device.
