Worked in Essar Steel as a joint General Manager.
Worked in Essar Steel India ltd. Since 1991 to June 2014 & One year service provided as advisor
for the various ongoing projects as stated below.
In charge of Hot briquette iron for 3,4,5& 6 modules for its various capacity 100 TPH,125
TPH,210 TPH & 210 TPH respectively for its project entire piping & Ducting. These are all
vertical modules with the height of 104 mtrs.
 For 100 & 125 TPH (Tonnes per hour) Total piping = 3,75,000 Inch Mtrs,2,80,000 Inch
diameter & Ducting=2500 tonnes for each module.
 For 210 TPH(Mega Module). Total piping = 4,90,000 Inch Mtrs, 3,40,000 Inch diameter
& Ducting = 3500 tonnes. For 2 module.

3. For the completion of the above given qty of piping & ducting the following activity was fully
controlled by me with 20 engineers team for site execution & 10 draftsman for the detail
engineering/making isometrics from GA drawings.
 Making of Bulk MTO for piping material to start immediately site activity.
 Handling of 10 draftsman team for the detailed engineering /Making Isometrics.
 Preparation of MTO from isometrics with the specification hands over to purchase
department to float inquiry.
 Technical recommendation for the quotation received.
 Vendor selection to inspect their work shop facility & capability.
 Vendor follow up for the Material timely dispatch duly inspected.
 Site Execution & follow up for the targeted progress.
 Piping pre commissioning & commissioning activities.
Inter plant Natural gas line laying in running plant & commissioning with hot tapping.
 On line hot tapping on Natural Gas line with branch welding on running line.
Worked for six years in direct reduction Iron plant in maintenance department & managed all
activities from planning to execution of annual shut down. Handled the following Major
equipment.
 Fuel gas Fan capacity of 222 Am3/Sec.(Actual flow rate)
 Main Air Fan Capacity of 90.37 Am3/sec
 Aux air fan Capacity 52000 NCMH(Normal flow rate )
 Burden feeders for smooth raw material flow with 750deg.temp. in vertical furnace
operated by 220 bar hydraulic pressure.

Up gradation of modules from 50 TPH capacity to 100 TPH.
 Job involved was the Extension of Reformer box 12mtrsx 12mtrs cutting & again
extension of entire box with the extension of 1200dia Ducting & piping in very congested
area.200 man power was engaged to carryout different activity to complete task in one
month time.
Worked for revamping of Zimbabwe project Ziscosteel. Involved in project cost estimation &
Preparation of its TEFR (Techno Economic Feasibility Report) for revamping activities.
Siddhi cement plant at veraval in Gujarat since Nov.1988 to June 1991.
 For its expansion project & laying of water pipe line 70 km from Hire dam to plant.
