1. Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (MEDT)
The Ministry of Economy is a leading agency within the system of Ukraine’s government agencies
and institutions, responsible for implementation of the uniform government policy of national and
regional economic and social development and cooperation with the European Union. Among other
actions, MEDT aims to facilitate local executive agencies and local self-governing agencies in
arranging relations and ties with the European regional organizations and their participation in the
European regional programs, engagement of Ukrainian enterprises, institutions and organizations in
the participation of branch programs of the EU.
2. Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
(IoP NASU)
IoP NASU is non-profit state organization headquartered in Kyiv. As a subsidiary of the National
Academy of Science, the Institute receives grants from the Ministry of Science and Education, the
State Foundation of Basic Research. The Institute maintains close contacts with institutions and
research centers from the National Academy located in Ukrainian regions. Its scientists actively
cooperate with foreign R&D foundations; they have been granted several projects. The Institute
maintains fruitful cooperation with R&D institutions of the CIS states, Europe, Asia and USA. It puts
special emphasis on widening scientific contacts with foreign states.
5. 3 . Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI)
UCCI is a non-government non-profit self-governing organization associating legal
entities and Ukrainian citizens (entrepreneurs or associations). Nearly 10,000
enterprises of different nature are members of the UCCI. The main objective is creating
favorable conditions for the national business environment, supporting relations
between Ukrainian and foreign business partners in economy, science and trade,
representing economic concerns of the chamber members.
4. Kyiv National University (KNU)
KNU is a world wide known institute for higher education that trains specialists in
many fields of knowledge and carries out research. KNU is a multidisciplinary
educational and scientific complex. It is located in Kyiv and consists of more faculties
and departments than any other University in Ukraine. It provides curricula in much
more fields than any other comparable Ukrainian educational institution.

6. 5. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, namely its Structural
Department - Mission of Ukraine to the EU (MUEU-MFA)
The Mission retains extensive knowledge/experience to provide SMEs with tailored advice on the
EU-related issues. MUEU-MFA – is a permanent diplomatic representation of Ukraine to the
European Union. MUEU-MFA is a public body responsible for the development of Ukraine – EU
bilateral relations in all important spheres. Having the promotion of trade and economic cooperation
among its top priorities Mission has vast experience in delivering of the related services to different
stakeholders. MUEU-MFA is constantly involved in a number of the Ukraine – EU dialogues, namely
in the fields of trade and investments, regulatory framework, SME policy, research and innovations
etc.
6. New International Corporation Ltd. (NIC) is a private company, funded in 1995
in Kyiv. The company focuses on provision of complex services related to detection, registration
and protection of intellectual property, and also related to realization of these rights. The company
mission is economy development ensuring and improving the life quality through implementation of
innovation technologies within industrial enterprises of Ukraine. NIC actively collaborates with a
network of enterprises from different sectors of Ukrainian economy, which are interested in the
sphere of innovation technology transfer services development.
7. Dnepropetrovsk’s regional public organization “Dnepr Association
“Spozhyvach”” (DAS) is a non-government organization uniting Ukrainian industrial,
scientific and cultural achievements which includes over 270 active businesses uniting all 24
regions in Ukraine through 45 industrial branches.
