Only a few interviewees (around
20%) don’t know what is it about.

feelings on driverless car
while nearly a half of them
remains neutral or have no
opinion. Only a few number
of people shows their
negative view.

believe that driverless car is
beneficial to our daily life in
terms of enhancing mobility,
improving safety and helping us
to have more convenience.
However, a lot of respondents
also have doubts on being in
traffic jam.

have concerns towards
driverless cars so they would
only consider having one in the
future. Only 8% of respondent
are negative about buying a
driverless car while around 40%
of people are sure about having

Around 33% of the respondents
believe that it is too expensive to
have a driverless car while 26% of
them feel unsafe of driving it. 24% of
respondents feel uncomfortable in
the driverless car and would prefer
to drive on their own. A minority of
them would also think it is difficult to
find relevant charging station to
charge for the car.

CONCLUSIONS
• Driverless cars have developed at a high speed as many car
companies involved in the developing.
• Many people believe driverless cars can help improving their lives
and they are willing to buy one in the future.
• We believe driverless cars will become a normal product in our
future life.

HOW PEOPLE RESPONSE ON DRIVERLESS CAR (3) The majority of respondents believe that driverless car is beneficial to our daily life in terms of enhancing mobility, improving safety and helping us to have more convenience. However, a lot of respondents also have doubts on being in traffic jam. 22 October 2017

Only 8% of respondent are negative about buying a driverless car while around 40% of people are sure about having one. 22 October 2017

HOW PEOPLE RESPONSE ON DRIVERLESS CAR (5) Around 33% of the respondents believe that it is too expensive to have a driverless car while 26% of them feel unsafe of driving it. 24% of respondents feel uncomfortable in the driverless car and would prefer to drive on their own. A minority of them would also think it is difficult to find relevant charging station to charge for the car. 22 October 2017

CONCLUSIONS • Driverless cars have developed at a high speed as many car companies involved in the developing. • Many people believe driverless cars can help improving their lives and they are willing to buy one in the future. • We believe driverless cars will become a normal product in our future life. 22 October 2017
