Lymphoma is the 6th most common cancer in France and Spain, with over 11,000 new cases per year in France. The Ambulatory Medical Assistance (AMA) program in Toulouse, France provides lymphoma patients with treatment for 6-8 months followed by a nurse navigator who calls patients twice per week for the first year, every 3 months for the second year, and every 6-12 months for years 3-5. The AMA program is developing a smartphone application to supplement the nurse navigator follow-ups and improve monitoring of patients after cancer treatment, efficacy, adverse drug reactions, and quality of life.
