Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Downtown Denver Arts Festival Draws Memorial Day Crowds
1.
2. Over the 2014 Memorial Day weekend, Denver
hosted the 16th annual Downtown Denver Arts
Festival. A juried fine-art festival that draws
more than 125,000 patrons every year, the
2014 event featured 145 artists, more than half
of whom live in the state. In fact, the Downtown
Denver Arts Festival was first created
specifically to showcase Colorado-based artists
and was called the Celebrate Colorado Artists
Festival.
3. This year, the event took place at the Denver Performing
Arts Complex and featured a blend of fine art, fine crafts,
and performing art. According to director Jim DeLutes, the
Downtown Denver Arts Festival is the first major art show
of the summer season. He also told reporters that the Art
Fair Sourcebook recently ranked the event 33rd out of
more than 600 art festivals across the country. In addition
to the artists who sold their art over the weekend, the
Colorado Symphony and Opera Colorado participated in
the festival with live performances.
