2. •A recent change in leadership at Denver’s Quarterly Forum is designed to
raise the organization’s profile in the community and engage a younger
generation of business leaders. On January 1, Quarterly Forum founder
Carolyne Hyde stepped down from her position as executive director and
took over the role of chairwoman. She chose Ryan Heckman, co-founder
of the private equity firm Excellere Partners, as her replacement. Quarterly
Forum was founded in 1999, and it has since hosted more than 100
speakers at its private executive business forums.
3. •As part of a push to bring more publicity to Quarterly Forum, the
organization will raise its social media profile and reach out to young
leaders. However, Quarterly Forum will retain its focus on providing
business leaders with a forum to get to know their peers and stay current
on business practices and issues. It launched a new website,
QuarterlyForum.com, in December.
