Director Global Production Engineering
Directly responsible for the production support for Operations located in Wichita Kan., Tulsa Ok., Kinston North
Carolina, Prestwick Scotland and Subang Malaysia. Teams include Industrial Engineers, Manufacturing
Engineers, Continuous Improvement Core teams, Six Sigma Teams/Projects includes Black and Green Belt
training. Multi skilled teams included Master Scheduling, Change Board, Process and Project M.E.’s, Industrial
Engineers, and Simulation capability. Spirit customer base currently includes Boeing, Airbus, Rolls Royce,
Mitsubishi and Bombardier.
Selected Accomplishments:
• Centralized and organized the (Global Production Engineering) GPE organization of 670 employees that
had recently been a fragmented group between Operations and Engineering. This was enabled to drive a
more efficient and standardized organization and processes into place.
• Successfully planned and executed for our Boeing customer, 6 - 737 fuselage replacements that were lost
to a derailment accident in Montana, this being executed during a high production rate and met all
contracted delivery dates.
• Launched $10M Factory Optimization Project to upgrade 737 Fuselage and Propulsions factory floor
space – included work place organization, material presentation and consumable kitting enhancements
o Realized over $5M one time savings for capital avoidance projects and annual savings of over
$1.6M recurring benefit

Directly responsible for all operations for Spirit AeroSystems Wichita Operations. Directly managed more than 2400
employees while overseeing 12 production programs generating over $6B in revenue annually and growing. Set department
goals, authorized spending, administered operating budget of over $240 million per year and managed daily production.
Selected Accomplishments and cost savings contributing to the bottom line:
• Implemented a Management Operating System to effectively manage a large production organization
• Reduced cost and flow of all production lines to improve performance through identified Lean Projects
o Realized 4X savings in the factory and office environments for every $ spent in lean labor
o With factory optimization projects, realization of tools, tool accountability and perishable tool
reductions were accounted for over $100K for 2015.
• Worked with IAM though Joint Partner Steering Committee activities
• Excellent working relationship with the IAM
Director of Operations - Propulsion Structures and Systems 2010 -2012
Directly responsible for all operations and functional organizations within the Propulsion Structures and Systems facet of
Spirit. Directly managed more than 1200 employees while overseeing 9 production programs generating over $3B in
revenue annually and growing. Set department goals, authorized spending, administered operating budget of over $80
million per year and managed daily production.
Selected Accomplishments:
• Implemented advanced technologies along with MR&D and Engineering to enable Spirit’s capability as a leader in
assembly technology
• Advance Composite manufacturing technologies advancement with the intent to build 787 fuselage’s, demonstrated
360 deg. barrel capability which ultimately ended up with a contract win for 787 - 41 section.
• Inventory reduction of $100M in sheet metal fabrication

Directly responsible for managing incoming RFP responses to include attracting RFP’s, capturing work and maintaining
customer relationships to further attract future business.

• Established newly formed Sales and Marketing group upon inception of Spirit AeroSystems, Inc.
