DOMESTIC SAVING
TECHNIQUES.
• How can you clean up your domestic economy in an effective way?
• 1. Enjoy a good shower and let the relaxing bath for special occasions.
• 2. Uses water as possible. For example, turn off the tap
• 3. Write down all expenses, however small. So you will be more aware of what whims can delete.
• 4. Use the fan instead of air conditioning in the summer to enjoy the warmth.
• 5. Make the shopping cart in a conscious way. Experts advise going to the supermarket with a full
stomach. The feeling of being happy makes you more cautious about loading the shopping cart because
it does not cause tempt
• 6. Use natural light best to study, sewing, reading a magazine. Your view thank you, but also your
pocket. At night, always try to shut the lights when you leave a room.
• 7. Turn the switch on the TV if not lit. You'll save some energy. Do not be mobile phone charger on
longer than absolutely necessary.
• 8. Use the microwave instead of the oven plate as everyday habits as heat milk for breakfast.
• 9. Turn the iron when you have more than one garment board
• 10. Summer comes, and with it, a new season of fashion, style and color. Learn to appreciate what we
already have and not think so much about what you are missing.
• 11. Buy a piggy bank and check in it you're superfluous cents to buy bread.
• 12. Cooking for two days instead of for one. Save energy and also time.
• 13. When you want to treat yourself and have a drink, then buy it in the supermarket, not the bar.
RECYCLE TO PAY LESS TAXES.
•Any initiative is good to save a little on taxes and bills, so that the alternative have
implemented in Vilafranca del Cid sure to be well received by many residents. The
best thing is that you can save a little and help the environment. And is that the
inhabitants of the town of Valencia can save on your taxes regarding the rate of
junk if they recycle. To encourage recycling, the eco-park is computerized Vilafranca
del Cid, with one goal: neighbors take their waste and a card on which points will be
added as they recycle.
SAVING TIPS ON DOMESTIC ECONOMY
FIGURES.
The light bulbs can spend up to 80% less electricity for the
entire time you are running. To give you an idea, light a
traditional light bulb for one hour costs, € 0.006 and € 0.001-
saving. While these numbers may seem low you just have to
multiply the number of bulbs you have in your home for hours
that are on, and calculate the final cost in a year.
TECHNICAL INDUSTRIAL
SAVINGS
•FIRST STEPS FOR SAVING WATER
1.Conocer and control water consumption:
•Install water meters (general and for the most significant uses).
2.Separar wastewater according to their origins to reduce the volume of water to be purified:
•If there is, pour rainwater into the storm drains
•Reuse water cooling systems.
•Reuse condensates.
3.Reducir water consumption:
•Install self-closing valves and condition the water flows for cooling and cleaning thermostats conductivity
piece.
•Floor cleaning system with high pressure and low flow.
4.Reutilizar water:
•Encourage closed circuits.
• Using contaminated water for tasks that require water of less quality.
•5.Optimizar the use of raw materials and products:
•Dike spills level alarms or automatic stop system pumps.
•Completely empty the tanks and equipment before cleaning.
SAVING ELECTRICITY INDUSTRY.
The lighting could represent between 10% and 15% of the energy consumed by an industry, and
about 41% for the commercial sector. Some recommendations:
• Use fluorescent lighting systems that are more efficient and produce a reduction in
energy and maintenance costs
• In exteriors such as parking, large areas, street lighting, etc.., Use type lighting high
pressure sodium; this will help you to have low power consumption, high illumination
and extended life of the lights, as well as low maintenance costs.
• Replacing conventional tubular fluorescent T-12 type systems efficient T-8. Even with
this, you can achieve savings of up to 60% per lamp converted or replaced.
• Previous cost-benefit analysis, we recommend the installation of automatic lighting
controls, such as infrared sensors, sonic or other, especially in corridors, meeting rooms
and warehouses.
• Maximize natural light by installing skylights.
• Individualize switches in areas of dense number of fixtures, trying to divide the area into
sectors working.
• Replace traditional light bulbs with compact fluorescents in those areas where light is
used more than 4 hours daily.
WARM WATER.
The water heating for a hotel could represent between 25% and 30% of the total
energy consumed, hence the importance of taking into account:
• Select adequate water heating unit. There are different systems for every
need.
• Check the condition of the insulation, as which prevent heat loss and hence
the waste of energy.
• Hot water source should be as close as possible on the final use, this will
avoid conduction losses in the water transport over long distances via
pipeline.
• Having adequate control of thermostats and resistance also evaluate the
possibility of installing drivers time.
• Evaluate the possibility of using solar or gas systems.
• Consider also the possibility of installing efficient sprinkler.
REFRIGERATION
• For refrigeration equipment such as cooling chambers, freezers and refrigerators, it
should consider the following recommendations:
• Keep your freezer as full as possible, as frozen foods help retain the cold.
• Use the temperature control. The cooling capacity of the refrigerators and freezers is
regulated by a temperature control, a very high adjustment involves more work the
compressor and thus increased consumption of electrical energy.
• Check that the door closes its refrigeration equipment well.
• Be sure to avoid the accumulation of frost in the freezer. Try the frost does not exceed 6
mm thick. Remember that frost acts as a thermal insulator and brings more power
consumption.
• The cooling equipment should be situated away from heat producing appliances and
windows where the sunbeams fall.
• Clean the back of the refrigeration equipment at least three times a year, this will
produce a saving electricity therefore reduces dust accumulation cooling performance
and increases power
• Frequently clean the filters and condensers of refrigeration equipment.
• Install refrigeration equipment in a ventilated, at a distance from the wall at least 10
cm. Do not place in closed cubicles or furniture.

REFRIGERATION • For refrigeration equipment such as cooling chambers, freezers and refrigerators, it should consider the following recommendations: • Keep your freezer as full as possible, as frozen foods help retain the cold. • Use the temperature control. The cooling capacity of the refrigerators and freezers is regulated by a temperature control, a very high adjustment involves more work the compressor and thus increased consumption of electrical energy. • Check that the door closes its refrigeration equipment well. • Be sure to avoid the accumulation of frost in the freezer. Try the frost does not exceed 6 mm thick. Remember that frost acts as a thermal insulator and brings more power consumption. • The cooling equipment should be situated away from heat producing appliances and windows where the sunbeams fall. • Clean the back of the refrigeration equipment at least three times a year, this will produce a saving electricity therefore reduces dust accumulation cooling performance and increases power • Frequently clean the filters and condensers of refrigeration equipment. • Install refrigeration equipment in a ventilated, at a distance from the wall at least 10 cm. Do not place in closed cubicles or furniture.
