This document provides instructions for participants to stand in place doing nothing for 15 minutes in two separate groups - Group A near the rotunda who must be recorded and sign an image release form, and Group B near the bookstore who will not be recorded. Participants are given directions on posture, location, earning points, and health concerns. They are told to stay doing nothing until hearing a loud whistle, then walk silently to their assigned locations and form lines.

Sociology is about creating change in our communities. Sharing this activity on YouTube will help people around the world learn about the social construction of reality, norms, deviance, and stigma. There are few opportunities in our lives to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. I know that you may be afraid or embarrassed about this activity, but if you be courageous and let us film you today you can say you part of something awesome. And isn’t this what you came to college to do? To do something you can remember for the rest of your life. Well today is that day.\n\nThe only difference between the person we think we are and the person we are in reality is action. Will you join me?\n
