Boston Dynamics has created a new small robotic dog called SpotMini that is designed to assist humans in their homes. SpotMini is quieter and smaller than Boston Dynamics' other robots, allowing it to navigate indoor spaces and pick up objects. It has an articulating arm that can lift fragile items like glasses. While house robots have long been science fiction, SpotMini is one of the closest designs to a robot that can be physically helpful around the home.

Boston Dynamics subsidiary capable of
clearing up after its human masters.
