Division Rules 
• a POSITIVE divided by POSITIVE is POSITIVE 
(+) ÷ (+) = (+) 
• a NEGATIVE divided by NEGATIVE is POSITIVE 
(-) ÷ (-) = (+) 
• a POSITIVE divided by NEGATIVE is NEGATIVE 
(+) ÷ (-) = (-) 
• a NEGATIVE divided by POSITIVE is NEGATIVE 
(-) ÷ (+) = (-)

  • 3. Division Rules • a POSITIVE divided by POSITIVE is POSITIVE (+) ÷ (+) = (+) • a NEGATIVE divided by NEGATIVE is POSITIVE (-) ÷ (-) = (+) • a POSITIVE divided by NEGATIVE is NEGATIVE (+) ÷ (-) = (-) • a NEGATIVE divided by POSITIVE is NEGATIVE (-) ÷ (+) = (-)
