Film distribution is the process of making a movie available for
viewing by an audience, e.g. Touchstone pictures, Paramount and
Showtime
Previously distributed films:
Anchorman 2, Pain & Gain, The last exorcism, Hansel & Gretel, Shooter and The
Making of Jackass 2.
There is a high chance that Paramount home entertainment would be interested in
my film because from the many films they have distributed, the genres of them are
very varied from horror to comedy with television shows and films.

AUDIENCE
Our film would apply to audiences in the UK as well as globally. This is because its
genre is very popular around the world and there is no indication in the film about
anything obviously British
Thrillers commonly apply to males between 18
and 25 but we have made our film to suit a
wider audience including females and more
varied ages.
MARKETING STRATEGIES
- Advert on TV/Radio ( a traditional way of advertising for centuries)
- Social Media (a more recent way of advertising but very popular between ages of 12
and 25
- Word of Mouth
- Film Festival ( a good way of getting companies to fund)
- Posters (allows people of all ages to see the advertisement depending on where its
placed)
