This document outlines the breast cancer continuum and possibilities for intervention at different stages: 1) It describes various pre-malignant conditions like LCIS and ADH, as well as prevention efforts that can be taken for women at increased risk of developing breast cancer. 2) It then covers non-invasive cancers like DCIS and efforts to prevent contralateral breast cancer. 3) The final stages discussed are early stage node negative/positive cancers, late stage cancers, and recurrence of breast cancer, with a focus on prevention of progression and recurrence.
