Drug addiction has many disadvantages for both physical and mental health. It negatively impacts the central nervous system and can damage lungs, increase blood pressure, and cause constipation and dental problems. Long-term drug use also raises the risk of heart issues, depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders. Beyond health impacts, drug addiction affects entire families by putting users' loved ones through stress. Prevention is better than treatment according to psychologists who recommend staying away from drugs.

- 2. Disadvantages of Drug Addiction NIDA survey that was conducted in 2013 shows 9.4 percent population of America is involved in drug abuse. The main purpose of this presentation is to describe disadvantages of drug addiction: A large number of drugs affect negatively the central nervous system of human beings. Similarly, some drugs like meth are very dangerous for lungs and become the reason of high blood pressure. The problem of constipation and bad teeth are also some worse side effects of using drugs. Some medical drugs ecstasy increases the confidential level but these are not long-term solution to improve mental stage of any human being. Drugs also increase the rate of heart and become the reason of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety and stress.
- 4. The use of drug does not affect the physical or mental stage of a single human being but in actual, drugs put negative effects on entire family. As a psychologist, I always recommend to stay away from drugs because precaution is better than treatment.
