It all started when Wolfgang Puck opened a branch of his Spago restaurant in Vegas in 1992, and since that time, celebrity chefs have flocked to the desert city in hordes and opened fantastic - and expensive, world-class restaurants. Everything's not so high end though - there's also a good selection of family-run local restaurants, small chain outposts that are really good, and out-of-the-way ethnic places.

The Cagney’s restaurant in London plates the most scrumptious breakfast and dinner one can ever imagine and its menus portray all its capabilities. The restaurant also serves copious amount of drinks like red, rose and white wines, beers and cold and hot drinks. Some of the famous American cuisines to which you can relinquish yourself includes Cagney’s Nachos, Blonde Crazy, Lady Killer, and Dirty Rat. El Take It Easy is a new gastro-cantina located in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego. From the creators of The Linkery, El Take It Easy opens in June 2010.
Dolce, a made up restaurant used for our presentation and influenced by Dolce, Italy.
In 2009, Vito Cataffo attempted to launch a restaurant in Italy serving British cuisine. His efforts were documented in a Channel 4 TV show named Dolce Vito - Dream Restaurant. The series follows Cataffo as he finds a failing Italian restaurant, rescues and renovates it, and then sets about transforming it into a British restaurant.[6] It also shows Cataldo meeting various producers of high-end British ingredients, and testing these products on the Italian public. Dolce Vito began to air in August 2009, and continued through to September.

We will be using a build-up approach for forecasting revenue based upon an analysis of the direct competition’s restaurant activity.
The build-up approach uses a competitive index where the patrons per week at each meal period is divided by the number of seats available.
This competitive index indicates the restaurant’s productivity and popularity by representing the number of patrons served per seat in one week.
To help forecast daily covers, I have chosen to use historical data from six different independent variables:
- Daily Visitors
- Daily Convention Attendance
- Daily Air Traffic
- Daily Southern California
- Automobile Traffic
- Projected Daily Advertising Dollars Spent
For the purposes of this paper, service will be a synonym for the product of the Hospitality industry.
The relation of service to the hospitality industry does not necessarily mean that this paper has a limited scope.
Service expectations and how they are formed can be related to the entire field business and humanistic interaction.
This study consists of two parts:
The first part is a 1994 financial statement analysis which analyzes the Outback and their operation, the dinner house industry, the direct competition, and the Outback’s financial strength with direct competition and industry average comparatives.
The second part takes that information and identifies a problem while considering the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as analyzing the stakeholders and the industry in general.
