2. Introduction
Our report is about the dinosaur Sauropelta,
or should I say ‘Lizard Shield’. The Sauropelta
is a blunt tooth herbivour which is why it
would make a great pet.

3. Appearance
The Sauropelta weighs 3.5 tonnes and is
8 metres long. It’s body is covered,head
to tail, in armor. It has spikes all over
its body and has a toothless beak.
Sauropelta have three toed feet and
tiny eyes. It was hard to attack and
walked on four legs. Sauropelta may
look fierce with its spikes but is a
friendly herbivour and means you no
harm.

4. Habitat
The Sauropelta lives in the shady forest. It’s home is
obviousily built out of trees. The Sauropelta lives on
land and came from North America:USA. It would be
easy to look after if you had a farm and a spare field.

5. Diet
The Sauropelta ate giant, prehistoric plants. It needs to
eat one tree a day. This dinosaur is a scavenger, not a
hunter. It would be easy to feed because you would just
need to go to the mill and buy logs each week.

6. Behaviour
Sauropelta has medium braininess. This means it is not
dumb, but is not super intelligent either. With spikes all
over its back, meat eaters would think twice about
taking a bite from the Sauropelta. It’s spikes protect it’s
body. It would make a great guard dinosaur.

7. Conclusion
The Sauropelta makes a great pet because it can
protect you and it’s spikes are great for climbing on.
