2. The internet is amazing and
the dangers are real:
You already know the internet is powerful. Let’s review some
of the dangers:
• Strangers might try to capture your personal information
• Inappropriate content
• Sharing or sending inappropriate messages or content
• Device security
• Cyberbullying (either being the bully or the victim)

3. Use the same manners you
would if you were in person
• Be polite!
• Treat others the way you want to be treated
• Protect other who are being mistreated
• Don’t take credit for other people’s work
• Let teachers know where you find your
resources

be something they aren’t to obtain
your personal information. People
online may not be who they say they
are so NEVER reveal personal
information like your name, address,
phone number, school name, OR even
your friend’s information.

• Letting your guard down is easy online
because you can get so deeply involved
in your online activity
• Respect the privacy of others
• Beware of malware or viruses and know
what you are downloading
