A Digipak is a type of limited edition packaging for music albums or singles. It is made of cardboard or another soft, exterior material with an internal plastic holder for discs. Digipaks can contain multiple discs, and sometimes include extra pockets for additional content. They open like a book or have three sections that both sides can open to access a disc in the center. While they allow for more artistic design and can be more environmentally friendly than jewel cases, digipaks are more expensive and can eventually rip or have the disc holder break, unlike more protective jewel cases.

 Can provide fans with exclusive footage plus
live tour footage.

5.  Cons:
 More expensive than traditional liner notes and
jewel cases.
 Can eventually rip and the paper will separate
making ruining the whole digipak.
 the teeth that hold the CD in place crack and
fall out easily, and once they have cracked
there is nothing to hold the CD in.
 Not as much protection as the exterior is made
of paper.

6.  The main selling point on the front of the Oasis
Digipak is a guitar, this is to promote their
genre and what they mainly use to create their
music.
