2. Progress
• As I mentioned on Saturday in a previous project log I have filmed again. I
have filmed in a room which is ‘Hannah's bedroom’. I have filmed Hannah
drinking/shoting alcohol which alters her state of mind. I have also filmed
Hannah smiling and looking stable and sober and also her rubbing her face
and falling all over the place. I have uploaded this footage and all the
other footage I have got and created a quick video called raw footage.
However I have not completed this and want to add some music to it, but I
will have it completed by next Friday.
• I have also started to edit my music video. I have edited 45 seconds of it
already which I am happy about. I have also asked my classmates to watch
it and they have given me some positive feedback too. In terms of my
digipak, I need to take two more pictures for it to be completed, as I have
mentioned in a previous post with my digipak that I am not happy about
some of the pictures and how it is layed out.
3. Changes

I have made another change to the narrative of music video. The narrative will
now be illustrating the contrast of being lonely and having fun with your
friends. The music video will now start from the beginning as I feel that this
will make more sense. To portray these two opposing narratives I am going to
use the footage from the Calvin Harris concert which shows the crowds having
fun and dancing all together and then Hannah drinking in her bedroom and
progressively getting worse and in the end being sick and passing out.
To show that Hannah is getting drunk/that she is drinking I am going to do a
time lapse with the vodka bottle slowing going down to imply that Hannah is
getting more and more drunk as the night goes on. Also I will shoot Hannah
shoting the alcohol repetitively throughout the song. Moreover, I have also
come up with the idea to use close ups of Hannah’s face and film her changing
her expressions i.e. smiling, holding her face, rolling her eyes etc. I will the edit
these shots one after the other and then slot this in the timeline as the tempo
of the music reaches a crescendo.
4. Problems
• I am still extremely behind and I am rushing to catch up. However, I plan to
film next Tuesday and then stay behind and stay in frees on Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday so that I can have my first draft done.
• I also need to complete my digipak, however I want to have a first draft of
my music video finished before this so I can make a survey and ask my
target audience to fill it out for me so I know what to improve on for either
a second draft or my completed music video.
• I also need to start thinking about the evaluation questions, which is a
challenge when I am still so behind in completing my music video.
5. Overral
• I am not happy with how much I have fallen
behind, but it is my own fault so I cant really
complain. I am happy about the progress I
made with my music video this week as it
shows that when I set my mind to something I
can do it.
