The document proposes several ideas for scenes in a music video to depict flashbacks, sadness, and moving on from a breakup. 1. When listening to ‘never enough’ I thought of flash
backs of her and her boyfriend and watching music
video’s I thought this way of showing a flash back is the
best way.

I thought in one of the scenes it can be
of the artist holding a picture of her
and her boyfriend when they were
together and then the picture starts
moving into a flash back
A another way of doing flash backs could be
having pictures hanging like that and then
zooming into it and showing what happened

2. In our chosen song there’s a piano in the
background and also in the beginning of the
song there's piano being played so I thought
we could show her playing the piano whilst
singing.
We could show our artist playing the
piano in different shots. For example one
can be a close up of her hand playing the
Piano and another can be a mid shot of
her singing and playing the Piano
Using the piano scenes is
good because it symbolises
sadness and hurt.

3. In the beginning scene I was thinking of getting the artist
to sit by a window or on the floor next to a window ( like
Taylor Swift )
The reason I thought of the artist sitting by a
window is because it shows that a girl is
depressed and she’s going through a rough
time with her boyfriend or she’s broken up.
Also showing its raining shows that it’s a bad
depressing and sad day which would go really
well with the music video theme.

4. In the end of Shontelle’s video she walks outta
the house with her bags. I was thinking in the
music video we are going to film I was thinking of
her whipping her tears and putting some
mascara on and then lipstick and getting all of
her and her boyfriend’s picture and burning all
the memories to show she’s a strong and
independent women and she doesn’t need a
man in her life to make her happy
In Taylor swift music video she does
the same. At the end of her music
video she says ‘ im over it’ and throws
out this burning picture. This show’s
she strong enough to survive on her
own.
