Diabetes Awareness Training Courses will teach an understanding of diabetes. It is perfect for healthcare workers, support workers and nurses who are working with people who have or are expected to have diabetes. It is a theory based course that will give new awareness to all staff regardless of their level. The course will teach about type one and two diabetes, symptoms, blood sugar control, risk factors, diagnoses, insulin, myths etc. The course will last three hours and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance. The course can be provided at one of our training centres or at a place that is more effective for your staff.

Course Description:
This course is designed for healthcare and support workers. It will enable staff to recognise
symptoms and provide the correct care and support to those who have or whom you
suspect have diabetes. This is a theory based course that will provide underpinning
knowledge and awareness to care staff at all levels.
