Project – 2: Develop 50Ton Wax injection machine (CE Mark Equipment), UK
Project type: Design Wax injection machine electrical based on B&R PLC and HMI.
Team Size: 3 (Ele. Eng. + Mech. Eng. + draftsman)
Role: I was responsible to design power circuit as well as control circuit of
Electrical panel. Preparation of wiring harness, SLD, selection of VFD
mixer and motor starter switchgears for hydraulics. Selection of sensors
such as curtain sensors, proximity, level sensors etc.
Other: Confer with vendors to propose requirement of material with current CE
standard (Low voltage directive). Prepare full technical construction file
for the same.
More than 3 such system supplied by company after successful testing of
this equipment.
Project – 3: Design of end of line robotics solutions for pidilite.
Project type: Design case packer, case erector, and case mover with kuka robotics.
Team Size: 6 (Ele. Eng. + 3-Mech. Eng. + 2-draftsman)
Role: My task for this project is to overview electrical/automation part; such as
preparing SLD, select LV/MV switchgear, cables and motors with VFD.
Design specifications for VCB, ACB, PCC, MCC, and VFD Panels. Prepare
logic to handle equipment. Select sensors for line.
Other: Total 6 different line, out of it 1st line is successfully tested.
Project – 4: Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating line for steel bar. (Re-Bar coating)
Project type: Provide consultancy for greenfield line setup with in-house design,
manufacturing and erection-commissioning support.)
Team Size: 5 (Ele. Eng. + 2-Mech. Eng. + 2-draftsman)
Role: My task for this project is to overview electrical/automation part; such as
preparing SLD, select LV/MV switchgear, cables and motors with VFD.
Design specifications for VCB, ACB, PCC, MCC, and VFD Panels. Prepare
ladder logic for controlling movement of bar and interlocking PLC with line
equipment such as Induction heater, Shot blasting equipment, coating
equipment. Designed 750kW, 3kHz IGBT based induction heater power
supply unit for project.
Other: After successful commissioning of project, company supplied 3 such fully
functional line.
Project – 5: Continuous aluminum cast bar heater for cable production using
Induction (CSA / Ul mark equipment), CANADA
Project type: Design power supply unit for heating equipment to increase temperature
of aluminum cast bar from 410ᵒC to 525ᵒC for annealing. (Line final
product is Aluminum LV-MV cable)
Team Size: 3 (Ele. Eng. + Mech. Eng. + draftsman)
Role: Designed converter panel using IGBT. Developed control circuit with soft
start logic for 450kW whose output frequency is 1kHz. Also, selected
various switchgears for panel and motor control center of water
circulation system.
Other: Confer with vendors to propose requirement of material with current CSA
/ Ul standard.
