1. Describe one family’s celebration.
Most of the students (85% ) described
   Religious Festival.
We have 2 Religious Festivals. Festivals
are very important for Muslims. These are E
ul- Fitr (Ramadan Bayram) ; We come
together with our family after fasting during
1 month we celebrate Festival, we eat
   sweets.
The other one is festival of sacrifices;
we sacrifices victim. According to
Islamic rules, every Muslim who is
wealthy enough must sacrifice a farm
animal for God. The meat from the
animal is then shared – one third saved
for the household, one third shared
between friends and neighbours and
the final third given to the poor.
• The other answer that Children and grandparents answered for
this question were sending off Soldier.
Military service is deeply rooted in the Turkish culture, and is
regarded as a sacred duty. Joining to the army is equated with
being an honourable and virtuous person. In rural areas in
particular, men who have not performed their military
obligations are not well regarded, and what they say is not
    taken seriously.
The beginning and end of military service, which Turkish
society in general attaches such a great importance, like the
other major landmarks in life, marked with ceremonies. There
are regional differences in the ceremonies for sending
someone off and welcoming him back.
• One of the most widespread practices all
over Turkey is for young men who have
received their call-up papers to be invited to
dine by all their friends and relatives in turn.
The young soldier also be entertained with
his family. It is also customary for
entertainment to be laid on during and after
  such celebratory meals.
• Some of the children and their
  grandparents answered as wedding
  ceremonies.
Wedding ceremony is very important in
Turkey. The family and their ralatives and
friends come together for the Wedding
  ceremony.
And A few children answered as ‘Birthday
party’.
They enjoy these kinds of parties.
Children and Grandparents answered like
Bayrams and Soldier Send Off Ceremony.
But Grandparents 100% don’t answer this
question as a Birthday Party.
Birthday party is growing in popularity for
Children.
