This document discusses using video recording and peer observation as tools for teachers to reflect on their own teaching practices. It addresses barriers to using video, such as feelings of vulnerability, and strategies to overcome these barriers like focusing feedback on teaching skills rather than the individual. The benefits of peer observation are outlined as sharing practices and ideas in an ungraded format. The session aims to discuss models of peer observation and reflective practice, identify solutions to barriers of video use, and apply conversation and community of practice theories.
