This document discusses developing a daily habit of reading books using a technique called the Multiple Reading Process (MRP). MRP involves previewing a book in 2 minutes, overviewing it in 10 minutes by reading chapter openings and closings, and then reading the full book in 60 minutes of focused reading. Apply MRP to Animal Farm 1. Preview (2 minutes) 2. Overview (10 minutes) 3. Read (60 minutes) 60 minutes of focused reading without distractions. Can be done in three 20- minute parts or two 30-minute parts.

  • 6. How to Preview a Book? ● Look at Title ● Table of Contents ● Copyright date ● Author ● Read First and Last Chapter
  • 7. How To Overview a Book? Read first and last paragraph of every Chapter
  • 10. Apply MRP to Animal Farm 1. Preview (2 minutes) Get as much info as you can about the book in 2 minutes
  • 11. Apply MRP to Animal Farm 1. Preview (2 minutes) 2. Overview (10 minutes) Read the first sentence of each chapter and skim everything else.
  • 12. Apply MRP to Animal Farm 1. Preview (2 minutes) 2. Overview (10 minutes) 3. Read (60 minutes) 60 minutes of focused reading without distractions. Can be done in three 20- minute parts or two 30-minute parts.
