The authors, researchers at the Rand Corporation and Brown University, use the data from the National Longitudinal Surveys of Young Women and Young Men to test their hypothesis that nonfamily living by young adults alters their attitudes, values, plans, and expectations, moving them away from their belief in traditional sex roles. They find their hypothesis strongly supported in young females, although the effects were fewer in studies of young males. Increasing the time away from parents before marrying led to increased individualism, self-sufficiency, and changes in attitudes about families. The Role of Couples’ Conversations in Relational Development: A Content Analysis of Courtship Talk in Harlequin Romance Novels, relies largely on references to the Harlequin series. This article dives deeper into the conversations that the characters have in the novels and the aspects and steps of developing romantic relationships. The stages of romantic relationships were referenced in accordance to what Knapp had previously established being initiating, experimenting, intensifying, integrating and bonding. (p. 128) After referencing Knapp’s stages of relationship development, J.K. Alberts analyzes ten novels from the Harlequin series to exemplify the stages. Alberts uses examples and quotes conversations from the text in the analysis of the novels to prove the relation as well. In conclusion, Alberts states that from the research presented in the article can lead to many other things but even though “romantic literature may have its drawbacks as a research database; however, it is a widespread and important cultural artifact that should not be dismissed out of hand.” (p. 141)
J.K. Alberts uses multiple examples to support the initial idea that there are many steps and important conversations in establishing romantic relationships. Because the Harlequin romance novels are so popular and have been around for so many years these novels were a strong choice in representing the stages of relationships. The way Alberts quotes directly from the text to exemplify different stages and different language context while also using research from a few different people, it helps the reader to understand the stages fully. The stages are also very clear and relatable to real life situations which help to be able to understand how these may both relate to novels and also real time relationships. One thing that could have been more focused is that the author referencing many different people who have done research in the past and it may have been more beneficial to focus solely on Knapp because their research seems the most expansive and relevant to the content of this article.
The information presented in this article is very relevant to my topic and will be very helpful when I write about the stages of romantic relationships in novels later in the semester when composing my paper. The stages that were developed by Knapp are also very informative and will be very useful to dive deeper into stages of theses relationships in novels.

What is an annotated bibliography?

Theoretical Framework: Social Bond Theory
The social bond theory shows support that a juvenile who has attachment to something are less likely to commit delinquent acts. Most sexual behavior problems must be delineated within the context of the individual's personality, lifestyle, and relationships with others. It is usually simplistic to label any particular behavior automatically as a problem. Several criteria are given that can be used to define sexual problems and that can help put problematic sex into a more realistic and sensible perspective. Determining when a sexual preference behavior becomes a problem is highly subjective and requires a look into different aspects of an individual's life, including his or her lifestyle and cultural and social belief systems. Sexual abuse, coercion, and assault of others represent serious sexual problems (Kelly, 2015).
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and a variety of other medical conditions can affect the sex organs and sexual activity. Whereas STDs once were discussed only briefly in most human sexuality courses, they are emerging as important issues again. Considering that the incidence of several diseases is on the rise, and that more organisms are being recognized as being capable of sexual transmission, such a trend may be timely. The human service organization selected to for the completion of the final project is Fort Bend Women’s Center, Inc. Established in 1980, Fort Bend Women’s Center is a human service and non-profit organization that involves in offering various programs that assist sexual assault and domestic violence survivors escape abuse as well as become self-reliant in the community (FBWC, 2019). The organization is located in Richmond city, Texas State, in the United States. The enterprise’s web address is https://www.fbwc.org/. Moreover, the mission of FBWC is to assist survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence as well as their children in attaining self-sufficiency and safety while advocating against gender-based violence especially against women (FBWC, 2019). In other words, the organization aims to provide an alternative and better life to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The organization focuses on achieving its mission through the provision of crisis intervention services, non-residential services, and housing programs to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Proposal Idea
The focus of the grant would be on expanding the homelessness and housing services. The program will entail providing permanent supportive housing, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services to the community in Richmond city. Focusing on this area will improve the ability of Fort Bend Women’s Center to meet the needs of the community efficiently. Typically, the proposed idea is to expand the homelessness and housing services of FBWC to meet the needs of the city.
Besides, the community needs that the idea or program will address include homelessness and other supportive services. A recent report by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (DUD) indicated that homelessness is still a critical issue in Richmond and Texas as a whole. It is estimated that over 19,000 people were homeless in 2014 in Texas, which equals to seven out of ten thousand persons in this state are homeless (Frame, 2017). Moreover, domestic violence and sexual assault are identified as among the significant factors that contribute to this problem. Therefore, there is a need to improve homelessness and housing services to address the community needs more efficiently.
Following the improvement of the organization’s ability to address homelessness, homeless individuals will be able to get permanent housing, become self-sufficient, and attain emotional stability (Woodhall-Melnik & Dunn, 2016). Also, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence will get shelter and other supportive services such as legal representation in the court of law. Violence against women will reduce, thus enhancing the position of women in the com.

Problem Statement:
The problem that will be addressed is how African American Male Juveniles do not get offered rehabilitation methods but they get punished to serve incarceration time. This leads to higher recidivism rates because they do not have alternative resources.
Theoretical Framework: Social Bond Theory
The social bond theory shows support that a juvenile who has attachment to something are less likely to commit delinquent acts. This is a faith-based initiative that provides informal relationships that postulated positive feelings of attachment while making it important to not commitment delinquent acts.
There are also theories that prove what contributes to delinquent behavior. One of those theories is the differential association theory which states that those juveniles who are affiliated with criminals have a higher propensity to become criminal themselves. On the other hand there is the strain theory, which offers a different perspective that people tend to respond to the different stressors that life brings differently. One of which could include criminal behavior. These theories support Travis Hirchi's social bond theory which is a theoretical framework model.

You can challenge them directly to show why they are wrong, and if need be you can concede that they are right, but that your points still outweigh theirs.

Several criteria are given that can be used to define sexual problems and that can help put problematic sex into a more realistic and sensible perspective. One of the most significant findings of the National Health and Social Life Survey (NHSLS) was the direct correlation between the numbers of sexual partners people have had and the likelihood that they will have had a STD (National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, 1992).
Defining sexual dysfunctions is somewhat subjective, and individual differences in the sexual response cycle are often perfectly normal. The human service organization selected to for the completion of the final project is Fort Bend Women’s Center, Inc. Established in 1980, Fort Bend Women’s Center is a human service and non-profit organization that involves in offering various programs that assist sexual assault and domestic violence survivors escape abuse as well as become self-reliant in the community (FBWC, 2019). The organization is located in Richmond city, Texas State, in the United States. The enterprise’s web address is https://www.fbwc.org/. Moreover, the mission of FBWC is to assist survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence as well as their children in attaining self-sufficiency and safety while advocating against gender-based violence especially against women (FBWC, 2019). In other words, the organization aims to provide an alternative and better life to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The organization focuses on achieving its mission through the provision of crisis intervention services, non-residential services, and housing programs to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Proposal Idea
The focus of the grant would be on expanding the homelessness and housing services. The program will entail providing permanent supportive housing, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services to the community in Richmond city. Focusing on this area will improve the ability of Fort Bend Women’s Center to meet the needs of the community efficiently. Typically, the proposed idea is to expand the homelessness and housing services of FBWC to meet the needs of the city.
Besides, the community needs that the idea or program will address include homelessness and other supportive services. A recent report by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (DUD) indicated that homelessness is still a critical issue in Richmond and Texas as a whole. It is estimated that over 19,000 people were homeless in 2014 in Texas, which equals to seven out of ten thousand persons in this state are homeless (Frame, 2017). Moreover, domestic violence and sexual assault are identified as among the significant factors that contribute to this problem. Therefore, there is a need to improve homelessness and housing services to address the community needs more efficiently.
Following the improvement of the organization’s ability to address homelessness, homeless individuals will be able to get permanent housing, become self-sufficient, and attain emotional stability (Woodhall-Melnik & Dunn, 2016). Also, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence will get shelter and other supportive services such as legal representation in the court of law. Violence against women will reduce, thus enhancing the position of women in the com.

A hoary assumption of the law is that children are more prone to
false-memory reports than adults, and hence, their testimony is less
reliable than adults’. Since the 1980s, that assumption has been
buttressed by numerous studies that detected declines in false
memory between early childhood and young adulthood under con-
trolled conditions. Fuzzy-trace theory predicted reversals of this
standard developmental pattern in circumstances that are directly
relevant to testimony because they involve using the gist of experi-
ence to remember events. That prediction has been investigated
during the past decade, and a large number of experiments have
been published in which false memories have indeed been found
to increase between early childhood and young adulthood. Further,
experimentation has tied age increases in false memory to
improvements in children’s memory for semantic gist. According
to current scientific evidence, the principle that children’s testi-
mony is necessarily more infected with false memories than adults’
and that, other things being equal, juries should regard adults’ tes-
timony as necessarily more faithful to actual events is untenable.

Research on factors that can affect the accuracy of children’s auto-
biographical remembering has important implications for under-
standing the abilities of young witnesses to provide legal
testimony. In this article, we review our own recent research on
one factor that has much potential to induce errors in children’s
event recall, namely natural memory sharing conversations with
peers and parents. Our studies provide compelling evidence that
not only can the content of conversations about the past intrude
into later memory but that such exchanges can prompt the gener-
ation of entirely false narratives that are more detailed than true
accounts of experienced events. Further, our work show that dee-
per and more creative participation in memory sharing dialogues
can boost the damaging effects of conversationally conveyed mis-
information. Implications of this collection of findings for chil-
dren’s testimony are discussed.

Introduction
Perhaps only one simple and straightforward claim can be made about the accuracy of children’s
testimony: not all statements made by children are true. Admittedly, exact accuracy is not the usual
goal of memory in everyday life. Most autobiographical remembering is carried out for social pur-
poses, such as to build bonds and foster connectedness with friends and family (see e.g., Nelson,
1993), and can serve these functions even when recollections do not precisely represent the past. In

One of the first tasks infants and children must master is communication. The ability to communicate is an important skill. Infants communicate primarily through crying. Parents and caregivers can become quite adept at interpreting a child’s cry so that they can respond to his or her needs quickly and appropriately.
While nature predisposes humans to language, it is nurture that determines language development. Language development can be facilitated a number of ways: Adults can modify their speech (i.e., child-directed speech, simplified speech) to help young children attend to and learn the important parts of speech and appropriate syntax; play simple games with children that encourage turn-taking (a characteristic of good communication); and use of scaffolding (e.g., repetition) to help children learn the basics of language and communication (Pinker, 2004). The milestones of language development range from pre-language babbling to multi-word phrases and sentences. Individual and cultural differences can affect the rate and form of language within these milestones.

Hearing and smell is developed- but especially smell
Four ways of being awake:
