This study examines how consumers' green lifestyles influence their attitudes toward and purchase of low-involvement green products. The researchers surveyed 101 college graduates about their green lifestyles, attitudes toward green gift calendars, and preferences for calendars with green attributes. Structural equation modeling showed higher-income consumers had greener lifestyles, and females were more likely to value green attributes in gift calendars than males. Green attitudes partially mediated the relationship between green lifestyle and green purchasing behavior. The researchers conclude low-involvement green product companies should target messaging toward high-income and female consumers.

Accounting for Psychological Determinants of Treatment Response in Health Eco...ScHARR HEDS
This study tested incorporating psychological prediction models of treatment response within an economic model of a diabetes education program (DAFNE). Regression models were used to predict patient response to DAFNE based on psychological characteristics. These prediction models were then integrated into a simulation model to evaluate policies of only providing DAFNE to predicted responders or offering follow-up support to predicted non-responders. The results found that providing DAFNE only to predicted responders increased costs and decreased health benefits compared to current practice. Providing follow-up support to predicted non-responders dominated current practice, but was sensitive to assumptions about follow-up benefit. This methodology demonstrates how psychological factors can be better incorporated into economic models of behavioral interventions.

Introduction
Evaluation of the program is usually done to in order to determine the quality of the program, how effective the program is and how the program is performing. This can help to know if the program is making a significant difference among the targeted people. It can also assist to know if the program is functioning or not. This paper therefore seeks to evaluate the program which is assisting the homeless people within the community.
The two program evaluation questions are: what is the reach of the program? And what has been the impact of the program on the homeless people? The answers to these questions would elicit both qualitative and quantitative results. Therefore, the program evaluation will require both quantitative and qualitative data collection plan. This is because the use of mixed-method approach is convenient since the results and findings would be reliable (Creswell, 2017). After identifying the evaluation program questions, the next step will be to come up with plan of evaluating a program. The plan should consist of methods of collecting data, evidences, the person responsible and the duration.

This document is a call for papers for a special issue of BioMed Research International on evidence-based public health. It discusses that public health decision making is complex, involving many inputs and the need for consensus. It states that while public health has achieved much in the past century, future success requires greater use of evidence-based approaches. Key aspects of an evidence-based public health approach include making decisions based on the best available evidence, using sound research methods, and engaging the community in the decision making process. An evidence-based approach could provide numerous benefits such as access to higher quality information and more successful prevention programs. The call invites researchers to submit papers on generating and implementing evidence-based public health knowledge and practices.

This document reviews psychological literature on the health and wellbeing benefits of biophilic design. It summarizes evidence for the three categories of biophilic design experiences proposed by Kellert and Calabrese: direct experience of nature, indirect experience of nature, and experience of space and place. The review finds the most evidence for attributes involving direct experience of nature, particularly plants, water, and natural landscapes/ecosystems. While many attributes show benefits, more research is still needed on how different biophilic design elements affect individuals. The review calls for additional studies on restorative environments and biophilic design.
The Impact of Using Lean-centered Model to Increase the Achievement of the Le...rahulmonikasharma
The suggested Lean centered-model has been designed to increase the achievement of the students in English Language Teaching (ELT). An experimental study was conducted to find the effectiveness of the model in the application of Lean as an innovative method in English language teaching. The participants of the study scored different achievements in both, the control and treatment groups. The end-result of the learners in the experimental group was statistically highly significant in the pre and posttests. The result was also statistically different between the pre-posttests between the two groups. The current model leads the stakeholders of an educational process to finish the syllabus on time, the program finished as it had been planned and resulting a better achievement. The model was a guide to finish the whole program in line with completing every step before starting the next. The lean-centered model helped to meet the needs of the learners. The learners also managed to get high achievements and develop their skills. The students had their roles as theculture of lean allows learners to be an effective part of the process. All the steps were eliminated which existed in the program and added no value to the end-result of the students according to the lean-centered model.

The Statutory Interpretation of Renewable Energy Based on Syllogism of Britis...AI Publications
The current production for energy consumption generates harmful impacts of carbon dioxide to the environment causing instability to sustainable development goals. The constitutional reforms of British Government serve to be an important means of resolving any encountered incompatibilities to political environment. This study aims to evaluate green economy using developed equation for renewable energy towards political polarization of corporate governance. The Kano Model Assessment is used to measure the equivalency of 1970 Patents Act to UK Intellectual Property tabulating the criteria for the fulfillment of sustainable development goals in respect to the environment, artificial intelligence, and dynamic dichotomy of administrative agencies and presidential restriction, as statutory interpretation development to renewable energy. The constitutional forms of British government satisfy the sustainable development goals needed to fight climate change, advocate healthy ecosystem, promote leadership of magnates, and delegate responsibilities towards green economy. The presidential partisanship must be observed to delineate parties of concerns and execute the government prescriptions in equivalence to the dichotomous relationship of technology and the environment in fulfilling the rights and privileges of all citizens. Hence, the political elites can execute corporate governance towards sustainable development of renewable energy promoting environmental parks and zero emission target of carbon dioxide discharges. The economic theory developed in statutory interpretation for renewable energy serves as a tool to reduce detrimental impacts of carbon dioxide to the environment, mitigate climate change, and produce artefacts of bioenergy and artificial intelligence promoting sustainable development. It is suggested to explore other vulnerabilities of artificial intelligence to prosper economic success.

A Review Of Psychological Literature On The Health And Wellbeing Benefits Of ...Gina Brown

Similar to Determinants that influence Green Consumption Intention: An Investigation of Environmental Perceptions of College Students in China (20)

Analysis of Value Chain of Cow Milk: The Case of Itang Special Woreda, Gambel...AI Publications
Ethiopia has a long and rich history of dairy farming, which was mostly carried out by small and marginal farmers who raised cattle, camels, goats, and sheep, among other species, for milk. Finding the Itang Special Woreda cow milk value chain is the study's main goal. In order to gather primary data, 204 smallholder dairy farmer households were randomly selected, and the market concentration ratio was calculated using 20 traders. Descriptive statistics, econometric models, and rank analysis were used to achieve the above specified goals. Out of all the participants in the milk value chain, producers, cafés, hotels, and dairy cooperatives had the largest gross marketing margins, accounting for 100% of the consumer price in channels I and II, 55% in channels III and V, and 25.5% in channels V. The number of children under five, the number of milking cows owned, the amount of money from non-dairy sources, the frequency of extension service contacts, the amount of milk produced each day, and the availability of market information were found to have an impact on smallholders' involvement in the milk market. Numerous obstacles also limited the amount of milk produced and marketed. The poll claims that general health issues, sickness, predators, and a lack of veterinary care are plaguing farmers. In order to address the issue of milk perishability, the researchers recommended the host community and organization to construct an agro milk processor, renovate the dairy cooperative in the study region, and restructure the current conventional marketing to lower the transaction and cost of milk marketing.
Minds and Machines: Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Investment Decisions ...AI Publications
In the evolving landscape of financial decision-making, this study delves into the intricate relationships among Emotional Intelligence (EI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Investment Decisions (ID). By scrutinizing the direct influence of human emotional intelligence on investment choices and elucidating the mediating role of AI in this process, our research seeks to unravel the complex interplay between minds and machines. Through empirical analysis, we reveal that EI not only directly impacts ID but also exerts its influence indirectly through AI-mediated pathways. The findings underscore the pivotal role of emotional awareness in investor decision-making, augmented by the technological capabilities of AI. It suggests that most investors are influenced by the identified emotional intelligence when making investment decisions. Furthermore, AI substantially impacts investors' decision-making process when it comes to investing; nevertheless, AI partially mediates the relationship between emotional intelligence and investment decisions. This nuanced understanding provides valuable insights for financial practitioners, policymakers, and researchers, emphasizing the need for holistic strategies that integrate emotional and technological dimensions in navigating the intricacies of modern investment landscapes. As the synergy between human intuition and artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integral to financial decision-making, this study contributes to the ongoing discourse on the symbiotic relationship between minds and machines in investments.0
Bronchopulmonary cancers are common cancers with a poor prognosis. It is the leading cause of death by cancer in Algeria and in the world. Behind this unfavorable prognosis hides numerous disparities according to age, sex, and exposure to risk factors, ranking 4th among incident cancers and developing countries including Algeria, all sexes combined. It ranks 2nd cancers in men and 3rd among women. Whatever the age observed, the incidence of this cancer is higher in men than in women, however the gap is narrowing to the detriment of the latter. The results of scientific research agree to relate trends in incidence and mortality rates to tobacco consumption, including passive smoking. Furthermore, other risk factors are mentioned such as exposure to asbestos in the workplace or to radon for the general population, or even genetic predisposition. However, the weight of these etiological and/or predisposing factors is in no way comparable to that of tobacco in the genesis of lung cancer and the resulting mortality. We provide a literature review in our article on the descriptive and analytical epidemiology of lung cancer.

Growth, Yield and Economic Advantage of Onion (Allium cepa L.) Varieties in R...AI Publications
Haphazard and low soil fertility, low yielding verities and poor agronomic practices are among the major factors constraining onion production in the central rift valley of Ethiopia. Therefore, a field experiment was conducted in East Showa Zone of Adami Tulu Jido Combolcha district in central rift valley areas at ziway from October 2021 to April 2022 to identify appropriate rate of NPSB fertilizer and planting pattern of onion varieties. The experiment was laid out in split plot design of factorial arrangement in three replications. The main effect of NPSB blended fertilizer rates and varieties (red coach and red king) significantly (p<0.01) influenced plant height, leaf length, leaf diameter, leaf number and fresh leaf weight, shoot dry matter per plant, and harvest index. Total dry biomass, bulb diameter, neck diameter, average fresh bulb weight, bulb dry matter, marketable bulb yield, and total bulb yield were significantly (p<0.01) influenced only by the main effect of NPSB blended fertilizer rates. In addition, unmarketable bulb yield was statistically significantly affected (p≥0.05) by the blended fertilizer rates and planting pattern. Moreover, days to 90% maturity of onion was affected by the main factor of NPSB fertilizer rate, variety and planting pattern. The non-fertilized plants in the control treatment were inferior in all parameters except unmarketable bulb yield and harvest index. Significantly higher marketable bulb yield (41 t ha-1) and total bulb yield (41.33 t ha-1) was recorded from 300 kg ha-1 NPSB blended fertilizer rate applied. Double row planting method and hybrid red coach onion variety had also gave higher growth and yields. The study revealed that the highest net benefit of Birr, 878,894 with lest cost of Birr 148,006 by the combinations of 150 kg blended NPSB ha-1 with double row planting method (40cm*20cm*7cm) and red coach variety which can be recommendable for higher marketable bulb yield and economic return of hybrid onion for small scale farmers in the study area. Also, for resource full producers (investors), highest net benefit of Birr 1,205,372 with higher cost (159,628 Birr) by application of 300 kg NPSB ha-1 is recommended as a second option. However, the research should be replicated both in season and areas to more verify the recommendations.

Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...IJECEIAES
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.

behavioral research have demonstrated that the traditional
continuum model of behavioral change (i.e. TPB) have
good explanatory power across a wide variety of decision-
making contexts [6,7]. According to the TPB, behavioral
intention is the best predictor of a given behavior and that
intention is predicted by three conceptually independent
determinants; attitudes towards the behavior, subjective
norms, and perceived behavioral control. Attitudes refer to
the individual’s overall positive or negative evaluations of
performing a given behavior [8]. Studies in the
environmental field have demonstrated that a positive
relationship between attitude and intention exists [9,10]. A
subjective norm is conceptualized as the social pressure
that consumers feel about whether to perform a behavior
or not [8]. Several studies have introduced subjective
norms as an essential predictor of behavioral intention to
perform environmental behaviors, including public
transport [10,11], and organic products [12]. Additionally,
perceived behavioral control represents a consumer's
beliefs about the presence or absence of factors that
facilitate or impede the performance of a behavior.
Consumers will have strong behavioral intentions to
perform a specific behavior if they perceive that they can
easily act on the behavior [8]. Prior studies have supported
the notion that perceived behavioral control is a significant
predictor of behavioral intention [13].
In the recent years, the TPB has been used in different
areas of green consumer behavior analysis. There are
many scholars in the green consumption areas such as
green hotel, green organic products, and green travel [14-
16]. However, there is little discussions of the promotion
of college students’ green consumption behavior in China.
However, the factors suggested in the TPB appear not to
be completely appropriate in the analysis and prediction of
consumer environmental behavior. Studies argued that in
order to enhance the college students’ perceptions of green
consumption, creating a green consumption atmosphere is
critical [17]. Similarly, the development of green products
and appropriate promotion are important factors for
encouraging green consumption behavior [18]. In addition
to three original TPB predictors, green atmosphere, green
promotion, and green product were integrated into our
proposed model. As shown in Figure 1, the hypotheses are
proposed as follows:
H1: Green consumption attitude positively influences
green consumption intention
H2: Green consumption subjective norm positively
influences green consumption intention
H3: Green consumption perceived behavior control
positively influences green consumption intention
H4: Green consumption atmosphere positively influences
green consumption intention
H5: Green consumption publicity positively influences
green consumption intention
H6: Green consumption product positively influences
green consumption intention

were used throughout the questionnaire. After data
screening, person correlation and regression analysis were
employed using SPSS 22.0 to identify the proposed paths
in the framework.
IV. RESULTS
The examination of the sample demonstrated that the
highest proportion of students is female (74.2 percent),
majority of the students were juniors (45.4 percent) and
business major (84.0 percent). As shown in Table 1, all the
Cronbach alpha coefficients range between 0.734 (attitude)
and 0.931 (behavioral intentions) and thus exceed the
suggested threshold of 0.70. Therefore, the scales had
great reliability and internal consistency. the highest mean
score was subjective norm (19.626), while the lowest mean
score was publicity (15.276).

As shown in Table 2, we conducted a Pearson’s
Correlation Analysis to realize the relationship between
five constructs. The results of Pearson’s Correlation
Analysis demonstrated that behavioral intentions were
highly significant to green product and green publicity,
respectively. Subjective norm was highly significantly
related to green publicity. Additionally, green product is
highly positive to green publicity.

The results of regression analysis showed that subjective
norm (β = 0.151, p = 0.006) had a positive impact on
behavioral intentions, which supports H2. Moreover, green
atmosphere (β = 0.123, p = 0.003), green publicity (β =
0.253, p = 0.000) and green product (β = 0.331, p = 0.000)
had a significant and positive relationship with behavioral
intentions, providing support for H4, H5, and H6.

V. DISCUSSION
This paper provides a holistic view on green consumer
behavior theory in terms of the TPB. The results show that
consumers’ behavioral intentions are determined by their
subjective norms, green atmosphere, green publicity, and
green product. Generally, Students have a basic

understanding of green consumption, but the specific
content of the green consumption is insufficient. Based on
the results of this study, we make the following
suggestions.
First, green consumption policy is not only the guideline to
guide people's rational consumption, but also an important
guarantee to promote the standardization of green
consumption. Several issues should be further considered.
First, standardized green product certification systems
should be established. Second, the policy makers expand
the promotion of green consumption concepts through
media channels such as television, the website, and other
social media.
Second, green consumption is a kind of high-level
consumption concept, which is highly related to
environmental awareness and social responsibility. Several
issues should be concerned. First, most college students
find it difficult to identify markers such as the green
product logo, which to a certain extent inhibit the green
consumption of college students. Enterprise needs to pay
attention to the development of green products, waste
reduction, and product quality assurance to enhance
corporate identity to encourage the college students.
Second, the business model of green marketing should be
developed to promote consumers’ brand identification and
competitive advantages.
Third, the results indicated that the levels of green
consumption of college students are still needed to
enhance. Several issues are suggested. First, arranging
more green consumption programs/courses in the
universities to change the attitude and cognition of college
students on green consumption, thereby promoting college
students' green consumption behavior. Second, to build a
green campus, several green activities are suggested to
conduct on campus. For example, green consumption
knowledge quiz activities or garbage classification
knowledge competitions to improve college students’
green consumption awareness.
Finally, the development of family environmental
protection education is of great significance to the concept
of green development. In the era of green development, to
create a green family, we need to cultivate the
environmental ethics of each family member, continuously
inherit the concept of environmental protection to the
younger generation, and let students drive families.
VI. CONCLUSION
Contemporary college students are the main group in the
future consumer market, and their consumption concept
also affects the development prospect of China's future
society. Based on the theory of planned behavior, this
paper integrates three new dimensions to enrich the
relevant influencing factors of green consumption
intention and to better promote the development of green
education and green economy.
We note that an earlier conference version of this paper
appeared in Huang et al. (2019). This manuscript provides
additional information on the green development and
suggestions on the development of green families.
