This document summarizes a research study on assessing self-perceived human comfort indicators related to indoor environmental quality parameters in residential buildings in Bhopal, India. The study involved administering questionnaires to 268 residents to understand perceptions of comfort parameters like thermal comfort, air quality, lighting, acoustics, and visual comfort. Thermal comfort was found to be the most important parameter, followed by air quality and lighting. Recommendations are provided to improve thermal comfort and indoor air quality, such as building orientation, ventilation, and use of green spaces. The document also outlines the methodology, data collection and analysis, findings, conclusions and future scope of the research.

Green consumption behavior in daily life has become an important research topic in China. Particularly, several green courses and programs are added to strengthen the environmental awareness of college students at universities in recently years. In fact, college students can be the high-efficiency actors who are good at learning ability, creativity, and flexibility and adaptability. The current study aims to understand the green consumption in practice from the views of college students in China by extending the Theory of Planned Behavior. The results indicated that green subjective norms had statistically significant impact on intentions of green consumption. Moreover, green atmosphere, green publicity, and green product were to found to have a significant and positive relationship with green consumption intentions. Promising directions for future research are outlined.

- It is a matter of concern for the mega cities in the world especially Dhaka City in Bangladesh that the quality of air is
deteriorating in disruptly day by day. Because of growing unplanned urbanization and for implementation mega development projects
like metro rail, elevated express way and the establishment of brick fields adjacent to this city etc. For implementing these type of projects, Dhaka’s air has been contaminated with Particulate Matter (PM) which is very much injurious to health. Besides this rapid
increase of motor vehicle are also responsible to contaminate the air quality. To reduce the air pollution of Dhaka City, This survey
was conducted for identifying to know how the city duelers want to overcome this situation and who are agreed to pay for this. So, assess of the willingness to pay (WTP) for improved air quality among the living people of this city associated factors influencing
their WTP. A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted in combination with contingent valuation in between January to
March of 2020. A face-to-face interview was conducted to obtain basic demographic information from manufacturing workers and to
understand their WTP for air quality improvement. A total of 50 effective questionnaires were collected in this study and showed that more than 94% of the respondents expressed their WTP for improved air quality. Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed
that the main factors associated with manufacturing workers’ WTP were their residence areas, education level, annual household
income and travel experience. These findings have provided (a) important information of the concern and desire for air pollution
control through their WTP from manufacturing workers, (b) baseline information for the policy-maker and local government for their
development of more effective policy in air pollution prevention and control and (c) the need for more study for WTP among different population groups in future.

The purpose of the present paper is to describe the development of a measurement scale, to assess the impact of the national cultural factors on the electronic clinical records acceptance in the Ibn Sina Hospital Center(CHUIS)in Morocco. The methodology assumed is based on the Churchill paradigm
(1979).Thus, our contribution focuses on the exploratory phase, where the items have been analysed using principal components analysis (PCA) and internal consistency with Cronbach’s Alpha (α). The results show a satisfactory factorial structure and excellent reliability of all the items.
In poor setting workplace environment in Bangladesh, most of the employees are bound to work due to the scarcity of job. Despite remarkable progresses in industrial sectors over the last few decades employees are facing two types of disadvantages; one they are working with dissatisfied workplace environment and lower wages on the other. It is the reality of the most of the employees in industrial sectors especially in the physical labour oriented industries. This study based on the information collected from 417 employees of three physical labour based aluminum industries in Rajshahi city of Bangladesh. Results of this study highlight that there are a strong variation in the satisfaction level of the employees about the workplace environment by their socio-demographic characteristics. It is believed that the findings of the study will facilitate policy-makers and respected authorities to take timely and viable steps and develop workable strategies to address the issue of sound workplace environment in the industrial sector. Without ensuring employees satisfaction through better workplace environment, it is difficult to reach sustainable development of the country.

However, there is no study that has assessed health promoting behaviors of university students in Ethiopia. So the purpose of this study was to assess health promoting behaviors and associated factors among under graduate regular university students at Mekekelle University, Tigray, Ethiopia, 2019.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

study focuses in Bhopal only. Better quality life is expected through better
indoor environmental quality in Bhopal. Due to time and efficiency constraints
the research study covers only one season to study /survey. Due to the cost and

simulation of all the parameters combined.

finding the acceptance of occupants in four aspects namely indoor air quality, thermal comfort,
illumination level and noise. They evaluate 125 occupants in residential apartments in Hong
Kong. They use a multivariate logistic regression model. Acceptance range of IEQ for normal
residential situations are determined.
Ibrahim U. Haruna et al., 2014, Quality of man depends on the quality of his indoor
environment. This paper explores the study of thermal comfort in Mubi metropolis. Where the
author distributed 240 questionnaire and know about the factors influencing the indoor thermal
comfort like high heating electric lights, costly air conditioning systems, poor designs and
materials used in building construction. Based upon the problem type they also provide
solutions for enhancing thermal comfort in residential apartments in study zone.

Z J Wang et al., 2005, They investigate the thermal comfort and environment in Harbin, China's
northeast area. They perform a field study and distribute 120 questionnaire and used an indoor
climate analyzer and thermal comfort meter.
Conclusion of Literature Survey:
After having detailed literature review it is found that a variety of work has been done to
understand the human comfort but only few research work has been done that shows that the
human comfort depends and vary with a number of parameters that include thermal, lighting,
air quality, acoustic and visual comfort. The most studies conducted till now have been done in
foreign countries having different weather conditions and different constraints however this
study focuses on comfort level in Bhopal (India) which faces a different level of constraints in
different fields’ altogether.

This study entirely focuses on understanding the perception of people in Bhopal for this the
questionnaire will sent through different medium that is both manual and online with the help
of various individual coordinator according to the pin codes in which Bhopal is completely
divided.
Bhopal is divided in 50 different pin-code section that range from 462001 – 462050.
This was prepared with the aim to cover the maximum amount of people taking into account
their educational background, their financial status and their standard of living so that the
result obtained from this study can be maximize on a greater bunch of population.

38. Conclusion, Future Scope & Recommendations:
Five most important indoor human comfort parameter namely thermal comfort, indoor air
quality, lighting, acoustic, and visual comfort are ranked by the 268 residents of Bhopal
(response rate 76.57%) according to their perception.

49. FUTURE SCOPE OF WORK
This work needs to be done in different weather conditions to better understand the human
perception all throughout the year and various methods i.e. manual, online, interview, self-
assessed etc.
The present study is focused on comfort creation in residential buildings, it is suggested to
investigate comfort for office buildings, commercial buildings, and institutional buildings also.
Detailed study of each human comfort parameter can be done separately and work can also be
done considering other important comfort parameter (humidity, building maintenance,
security, color & texture etc.) can be done to find out their impacts on comfort levels.

50. RECOMMENDATION
Following are the recommendation to improve the level of human comfort in the country.
No work has been done to consider the comfort level of people in their indoor environment in
India however few studies have been done for adaptive comfort approach in some south-
eastern Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand etc. to name a few, so this type of
more research in India is needed.
For India it is now essential to find our own comfort temperatures for that we have to
establish our own comfort labs in India.
Need to discuss in detail about indoor human comfort problems either before they pop up in
real time.
