Viral hepatitis is an infection that causes liver inflammation and damage. Several different viruses cause hepatitis, including hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. The hepatitis A and E viruses typically cause acute infections. The hepatitis B, C, and D viruses can cause acute and chronic infections. Hepatitis A causes only acute infection and typically gets better without treatment after a few weeks. The hepatitis A virus spreads through contact with an infected person’s stool. Protection by getting the hepatitis A vaccine. Hepatitis E is typically an acute infection that gets better without treatment after several weeks. Some types of hepatitis E virus are spread by drinking water contaminated by an infected person’s stool. Other types are spread by eating undercooked pork or wild game. Hepatitis B can cause acute or chronic infection. Recommendation for screening for hepatitis B in pregnant women or in those with a high chance of being infected. Doctors usually recommend one-time screening of all adults ages 18 to 79 for hepatitis C. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent liver damage. The hepatitis D virus is unusual because it can only infect those who have a hepatitis B virus infection. A coinfection occurs when both hepatitis D and hepatitis B infections at the same time. A superinfection occurs already have chronic hepatitis B and then become infected with hepatitis D. The aim of this study is to find the effect of each type of viral hepatitis on the bilirubin (TB , DSB) , and liver enzymes; AST, ALT, ALP,GGT among viral hepatitis patients. 200 patients were selected from the viral hepatitis units in the central public health laboratory in Baghdad city, all the chosen cases were confirmed as a positive samples , they are classified into four equal group each with fifty individual and with a single serological viral hepatitis type either; anti-HAV( IgM ) , HBs Ag , anti-HCV ,or anti-HEV(IgM ). All patients were tested for; serum bilirubin ( TB ,D.SB ) , AST , ALT , ALP , GGT. Another fifty quite healthy and normal person was selected as a control group for comparison. . Liver enzymes and bilirubin changes are more pronounced in HAV, HEV than HCV and HBVAST and ALT lack some sensitivity in detecting HCV ,HBV and mild elevations of ALT or AST in asymptomatic patients can be evaluated efficiently by considering ,hepatitis B, hepatitis C. ABSTRACT : Renovascular hypertension reflects the causal relation between anatomically evident arterial occlusive disease and elevated blood pressure. The coexistence of renal arterial vascular disease and hypertension roughly defines this type of nonessential hypertension. The aim of this study was to measure the level of serum Anti-Annexin V antibodies in patients with renal hypertension. Methods. This study was conducted on 115 patients, diagnosed with renal hypertension and hypertension. Informed consents were obtained from the patients and the study was approved by the Kharkiv National Medical University ethics committee. Ten healthy age and sex matched volunteers were included as a control group. All patients and controls were subjected to the following full history taking and thorough clinical examination. Routine laboratory testing included a complete blood count, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and kidney function tests (blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine). Immunological tests for antinuclear antibody (ANA) and anticentromere antibodies (ACA) was performed by the indirect immunofluorescence technique. AntiScl-70 (anti-topoisomerase antibodies) and anticardiolipin antibodies (ACA: IgG and IgM) were tested using the ELISA technique. The anti-annexin V antibodies titre used the ZYMUTEST anti-Annexin IgG ELISA kit. [Hyphen-BioMed, France.]: to measure the IgG isotype of auto-antibodies to annexin V in human serum. Results. Anti-annexin V antibodies were present in 75% of patients (mean 83.46 ± 22.44 AU/mL) vs. 0% in the controls (mean 3.94 ± 4.5 AU/mL). Comparison between patients and controls as regards levels of anti-annexin V showed a highly significant difference (P < 0.001). Furthermore, correlation of anti-annexin V titres with the disease activity score in the patient group showed a statistically significant positive correlation (r = 0.51, P < 0.05).In addition, the anti-annexin V antibody titres in this study showed a highly significant positive correlation with ACL antibodies (r = 0.74, P < 0.001). Patients with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) have been known to have a higher frequency of anti-annexin V antibodies, and thrombotic events have been reported more frequently in patients with positive anti-annexin V antibodies. Furthermore, inhibition of annexin V binding to negatively charged phospholipids may be an additional pathogenic mechanism of APS.
ABSTRACT- Background: Viral hepatitis B and C can lead to the end stage liver disease and diabetes mellitus is also
a life-long chronic disease. Simultaneous presences of both of these conditions lead to synergistic detrimental outcome.
So identification of diabetes mellitus at the initial evaluation of a patient having chronic hepatitis B and C is essential.
Materials and methods: This study was designed as a retrospective single center cross-sectional study. The association
of viral hepatitis B and C with diabetes mellitus was investigated at the Liver Centre Dhaka, Bangladesh for a period of
12 years. HBsAg was tested for hepatitis B virus infection and anti-HCV for hepatitis C virus infection. Demographic
profile and biochemical data were retrieved from records.
Results: A total of 29425 cases were analyzed in the study [median age 31(19–95) years, 24615(84%) males]. HBsAg
positive were 27475 and hepatitis C were 1950. Patients with hepatitis C were older than hepatitis B (p<0.001).
Although previous history of jaundice was similar in both infections but history of blood transfusion was more common
among hepatitis C patients (p<0.001). Analyzing different conditions of liver disease, it was observed that hepatitis B
virus infection was highly responsible for acute hepatitis than hepatitis C (10.7% vs 1.1%) (p<0.001). Chronic hepatitis
was similar in rate (73.3% vs 59.9%). But in both conditions of cirrhosis of liver like compensated and decompensated
states, hepatitis C virus was significantly responsible than the hepatitis B virus 24.7% vs 9.6% (p<0.001) and 14.3% vs
6.4% (p<0.001) respectively. The most significant finding was very higher rate of diabetes among hepatitis C which
was 22.6% while only 1.8% among hepatitis B virus infection (p<0.001).
Conclusion: Hepatitis C virus was highly related with the presence of diabetes than hepatitis B.

Until lately anti-HBc antibodies were considered as surrogate marker for HCV infection. But with the development of advanced tests for HCV detection the role of anti-HBc in this regard stands uncertain.

Abstract: Increased Oxidative Stress markers in HIV/AIDS Patients may be as a result of free radicals generation and evidence is accumulating that Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) mimics AIDS progression but may be costly due to its Nephrotoxicity. In this research serum levels of Alpha tocopherol ( α- tocopherol), Urea, Creatinine as well as CD4 Counts were measured in 70 HIV Seropositive Patients (40 on HAART and 30 HAART-Naïve) and Thirty (30) apparently healthy individuals as controls in Federal Medical Centre Katsina, Nigeria.CD4 Counts, Serum Levels of Alpha tocopherol, Urea and Creatinine of HIV-HAART and HAART Naïve were 0.72±0.27mg/dl, 16.8±5.6 mmol/l, 237±123 µmol/l and 646±254cell/µl and 0.3±0.1mg/dl, 10.4±2.9 mmol/l, 91±26 µmol/l and 364±17 cell/ µl respectively. There were significantly (p<0.05) increased CD4 counts, serum levels of Alpha tocopherol, Urea and Creatinine in HIV/AIDS Patients on HAART compared to HAART- Naive. This is an indication that HIV/AIDS are predisposed to oxidative stress and that also HAART has debilitating effects on kidneys.
ABSTRACT- Introduction: Blood group antigens have been reported to be associated with many diseased conditions
severally. Studies have suggested that ABO blood groups have an impact on infection status of the individuals
possessing a particular blood group due to the significant associations observed when analyzed. However there is
limited information on the relationship between these blood group antigens with haemoglobin genotype and CD4 cell
count in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection, hence the need for this study.
Materials and Method: Exactly 240 newly enrolled seropositive patients attending the HIV Clinic of LAUTECH
Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Nigeria and 120 healthy blood donors were recruited for this study. Antibodies to HIV
were determined using determine rapid HIV 1/HIV 2 test kit (Abbott), enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
(GenScreen plus HIV Ag-Ab test kit, Paris) and Western blot (New-LAV Blot 1, BioRad, France) for confirmatory test.
ABO and Rhesus blood grouping was determined by standard tile and tube techniques. Haemoglobin genotype
determined by alkaline cellulose acetate haemoglobin electrophoresis while CD4 cell count was estimated with Partec
Cyflow analyser.
Result: There is no significant association between the ABO/Rh antigens and haemoglobin genotypes of the test and
control groups (P<0.05). All participants in the control group had CD4 count >200cells/mm3 while 198 (55%) HIV
infected subjects had CD4 count ≥200cells/mm3 and 42 (11.7%) had CD4 count <200cells/mm3. A significant
association was observed between the CD4 cell count of the patients and their ABO blood group antigens (P<0.05) with
blood group A and AB having the highest CD4count.
Conclusion: The outcome of this study reiterates the fact that blood group antigens are involved in immune protection
against infectious disease. Blood group A which has been implicated to confer susceptibility in some diseased condition
has been observed to confer immunity in this study.

This study aims to evaluate green economy using developed equation for renewable energy towards political polarization of corporate governance. The Kano Model Assessment is used to measure the equivalency of 1970 Patents Act to UK Intellectual Property tabulating the criteria for the fulfillment of sustainable development goals in respect to the environment, artificial intelligence, and dynamic dichotomy of administrative agencies and presidential restriction, as statutory interpretation development to renewable energy. The constitutional forms of British government satisfy the sustainable development goals needed to fight climate change, advocate healthy ecosystem, promote leadership of magnates, and delegate responsibilities towards green economy. The presidential partisanship must be observed to delineate parties of concerns and execute the government prescriptions in equivalence to the dichotomous relationship of technology and the environment in fulfilling the rights and privileges of all citizens. Hence, the political elites can execute corporate governance towards sustainable development of renewable energy promoting environmental parks and zero emission target of carbon dioxide discharges. The economic theory developed in statutory interpretation for renewable energy serves as a tool to reduce detrimental impacts of carbon dioxide to the environment, mitigate climate change, and produce artefacts of bioenergy and artificial intelligence promoting sustainable development. It is suggested to explore other vulnerabilities of artificial intelligence to prosper economic success.

Ethiopia has a long and rich history of dairy farming, which was mostly carried out by small and marginal farmers who raised cattle, camels, goats, and sheep, among other species, for milk. Finding the Itang Special Woreda cow milk value chain is the study's main goal. In order to gather primary data, 204 smallholder dairy farmer households were randomly selected, and the market concentration ratio was calculated using 20 traders. Descriptive statistics, econometric models, and rank analysis were used to achieve the above specified goals. Out of all the participants in the milk value chain, producers, cafés, hotels, and dairy cooperatives had the largest gross marketing margins, accounting for 100% of the consumer price in channels I and II, 55% in channels III and V, and 25.5% in channels V. The number of children under five, the number of milking cows owned, the amount of money from non-dairy sources, the frequency of extension service contacts, the amount of milk produced each day, and the availability of market information were found to have an impact on smallholders' involvement in the milk market. Bronchopulmonary cancers are common cancers with a poor prognosis. It is the leading cause of death by cancer in Algeria and in the world. Behind this unfavorable prognosis hides numerous disparities according to age, sex, and exposure to risk factors, ranking 4th among incident cancers and developing countries including Algeria, all sexes combined. It ranks 2nd cancers in men and 3rd among women. Whatever the age observed, the incidence of this cancer is higher in men than in women, however the gap is narrowing to the detriment of the latter. The results of scientific research agree to relate trends in incidence and mortality rates to tobacco consumption, including passive smoking. Furthermore, other risk factors are mentioned such as exposure to asbestos in the workplace or to radon for the general population, or even genetic predisposition. However, the weight of these etiological and/or predisposing factors is in no way comparable to that of tobacco in the genesis of lung cancer and the resulting mortality. We provide a literature review in our article on the descriptive and analytical epidemiology of lung cancer.

Growth, Yield and Economic Advantage of Onion (Allium cepa L.) Varieties in R...AI Publications
Haphazard and low soil fertility, low yielding verities and poor agronomic practices are among the major factors constraining onion production in the central rift valley of Ethiopia. Therefore, a field experiment was conducted in East Showa Zone of Adami Tulu Jido Combolcha district in central rift valley areas at ziway from October 2021 to April 2022 to identify appropriate rate of NPSB fertilizer and planting pattern of onion varieties. The experiment was laid out in split plot design of factorial arrangement in three replications. The main effect of NPSB blended fertilizer rates and varieties (red coach and red king) significantly (p<0.01) influenced plant height, leaf length, leaf diameter, leaf number and fresh leaf weight, shoot dry matter per plant, and harvest index. Total dry biomass, bulb diameter, neck diameter, average fresh bulb weight, bulb dry matter, marketable bulb yield, and total bulb yield were significantly (p<0.01) influenced only by the main effect of NPSB blended fertilizer rates. In addition, unmarketable bulb yield was statistically significantly affected (p≥0.05) by the blended fertilizer rates and planting pattern. Moreover, days to 90% maturity of onion was affected by the main factor of NPSB fertilizer rate, variety and planting pattern. The non-fertilized plants in the control treatment were inferior in all parameters except unmarketable bulb yield and harvest index. Significantly higher marketable bulb yield (41 t ha-1) and total bulb yield (41.33 t ha-1) was recorded from 300 kg ha-1 NPSB blended fertilizer rate applied. Double row planting method and hybrid red coach onion variety had also gave higher growth and yields. The study revealed that the highest net benefit of Birr, 878,894 with lest cost of Birr 148,006 by the combinations of 150 kg blended NPSB ha-1 with double row planting method (40cm*20cm*7cm) and red coach variety which can be recommendable for higher marketable bulb yield and economic return of hybrid onion for small scale farmers in the study area. Also, for resource full producers (investors), highest net benefit of Birr 1,205,372 with higher cost (159,628 Birr) by application of 300 kg NPSB ha-1 is recommended as a second option. However, the research should be replicated both in season and areas to more verify the recommendations.

The neuroprotective activity of ECSL was found to have a significant impact on neuronal cell death triggered by hydrogen peroxide (MTT assay) in human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells. Scopolamine, a muscarinic receptor blocker, is frequently used to induce cognitive impairment in laboratory animals. Injections of scopolamine influence multiple cognitive functions, including motor function, short-term memory, and attention. Using the Morris water maze, the Y maze, and the passive avoidance paradigm, memory enhancing activity in scopolamine-induced amnesic rats was evaluated. Using the Morris water maze, the Y maze, and the passive avoidance paradigm, ECSL was found to have a substantial effect on the memory of scopolamine- induced amnesic rats. Our experimental data indicated that ECSL can reverse scopolamine induced amnesia and assist with memory issues.

Breast hamartoma is a rare, well-circumscribed, benign lesion made up of a variable quantity of glandular, adipose and fibrous tissue. This is a lesion that can affect women at any age from puberty. With the increasingly frequent use of imaging methods such as mammography and ultrasound as well as breast biopsy, cases of hamartoma diagnosed are increasing. The diagnosis of these lesions is made by mammography. The histological and radiological aspects are variable and depend on its adipose tissue content. The identification of these lesions is important in order to avoid surgical excisions. We report radio-clinical and pathological records of breast hamartoma.

Ovarian cancer is relatively common but serious and has a poor prognosis. The aim of this study is to highlight the epidemiological, diagnostic, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects of this malignant pathology managed at the Bejaia university hospital center. This is a retrospective and descriptive study over a period of 3 years (2019 - 2022) carried out on 20 patients who developed ovarian cancer. The average age of the patients was 50 years old, 53.23% of whom were over 45 years old. The CA-125 blood test was positive in 18 out of 20 patients. The tumors were discovered on ultrasound in 87.10% of cases and at laparotomy in 12.90%. Total hysterectomy with bilateral adnexectomy was the most performed procedure (64.52%). The early postoperative course was simple. 15 patients underwent second look surgery (16.13%) for locoregional recurrences. Epithelial tumors were the most frequent histological type (93.55%), including 79% in the advanced stage ( IIIc -IV) and 21% in the early stage (Ia- Ib ). Adjuvant chemotherapy was administered in 80% of patients. With a median follow-up of 36 months, 2 patients were lost to follow-up. The evolution was favorable in 27.42% and in 25.81% deaths occurred late postoperatively. Ovarian cancer is not common but serious given the advanced stages and the high rate of late postoperative deaths which were largely observed in patients deprived of adequate neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy.

The highest number of seeds per panicle, test weight (gm), grain yield (q/ha), and straw yield (q/ha) were recorded with the cv. “VNR-7”. While the lowest number of days to 50% flowering was also recorded with cv. “VNR-7” during the year 2021 and 2022.

The purpose of this study was to determine the status of women's empowerment and its determinants using women's asset endowment and decision-making potential as indicators. To determine representative sample size, this study used a two-stage sampling technique, and 122 sample respondents were selected at random. To analyze the data in this study, descriptive statistics and a probit model were used. The average women's empowerment index was 0.41, indicating a relatively lower status of women's empowerment in the study area. According to the study's findings, only 40.9% of women were empowered, while the remaining 59.1% were not. The probit model results show that women's access to the media, women's income, and their husbands' education status have a significant and positive impact on the status of women's empowerment, while the family size of households has a negative impact. As a result, it is important to enhance women's access to the media and income, promote family planning and contraception, and improve men's educational status in order to improve the status of women's empowerment.

The ambient solar wind that flls the heliosphere originates from multiple
sources in the solar corona and is highly structured. It is often described
as high-speed, relatively homogeneous, plasma streams from coronal
holes and slow-speed, highly variable, streams whose source regions are
under debate. A key goal of ESA/NASA’s Solar Orbiter mission is to identify
solar wind sources and understand what drives the complexity seen in the
heliosphere. By combining magnetic feld modelling and spectroscopic
techniques with high-resolution observations and measurements, we show
that the solar wind variability detected in situ by Solar Orbiter in March
2022 is driven by spatio-temporal changes in the magnetic connectivity to
multiple sources in the solar atmosphere. The magnetic feld footpoints
connected to the spacecraft moved from the boundaries of a coronal hole
to one active region (12961) and then across to another region (12957). This
is refected in the in situ measurements, which show the transition from fast
to highly Alfvénic then to slow solar wind that is disrupted by the arrival of
a coronal mass ejection. Our results describe solar wind variability at 0.5 au
but are applicable to near-Earth observatories.

Since the loophole-free Bell experiments of 2020 and the Nobel prizes in physics of 2022, critics of Bell's work have retreated to the fortress of super-determinism. Now, super-determinism is a derogatory word - it just means "determinism". Palmer, Hance and Hossenfelder argue that quantum mechanics and determinism are not incompatible, using a sophisticated mathematical construction based on a subtle thinning of allowed states and measurements in quantum mechanics, such that what is left appears to make Bell's argument fail, without altering the empirical predictions of quantum mechanics. I think however that it is a smoke screen, and the slogan "lost in math" comes to my mind. I will discuss some other recent disproofs of Bell's theorem using the language of causality based on causal graphs. Causal thinking is also central to law and justice. I will mention surprising connections to my work on serial killer nurse cases, in particular the Dutch case of Lucia de Berk and the current UK case of Lucy Letby.

Since volcanic activity was first discovered on Io from Voyager images in 1979, changes
on Io’s surface have been monitored from both spacecraft and ground-based telescopes.
Here, we present the highest spatial resolution images of Io ever obtained from a groundbased telescope. These images, acquired by the SHARK-VIS instrument on the Large
Binocular Telescope, show evidence of a major resurfacing event on Io’s trailing hemisphere. When compared to the most recent spacecraft images, the SHARK-VIS images
show that a plume deposit from a powerful eruption at Pillan Patera has covered part
of the long-lived Pele plume deposit. Although this type of resurfacing event may be common on Io, few have been detected due to the rarity of spacecraft visits and the previously low spatial resolution available from Earth-based telescopes. The SHARK-VIS instrument ushers in a new era of high resolution imaging of Io’s surface using adaptive
optics at visible wavelengths.

Intravital microscopy (IVM) is a powerful tool utilized to study cellular behavior over time and space in vivo. Much of our understanding of cell biology has been accomplished using various in vitro and ex vivo methods; however, these studies do not necessarily reflect the natural dynamics of biological processes. Unlike traditional cell culture or fixed tissue imaging, IVM allows for the ultra-fast high-resolution imaging of cellular processes over time and space and were studied in its natural environment. Real-time visualization of biological processes in the context of an intact organism helps maintain physiological relevance and provide insights into the progression of disease, response to treatments or developmental processes.
In this webinar we give an overview of advanced applications of the IVM system in preclinical research. IVIM technology is a provider of all-in-one intravital microscopy systems and solutions optimized for in vivo imaging of live animal models at sub-micron resolution. The system’s unique features and user-friendly software enables researchers to probe fast dynamic biological processes such as immune cell tracking, cell-cell interaction as well as vascularization and tumor metastasis with exceptional detail. MECHANISM OF RNAI:
First the double-stranded RNA teams up with a protein complex named Dicer, which cuts the long RNA into short pieces.
Then another protein complex called RISC (RNA-induced silencing complex) discards one of the two RNA strands.
The RISC-docked, single-stranded RNA then pairs with the homologous mRNA and destroys it.
THE RISC COMPLEX:
RISC is large(>500kD) RNA multi- protein Binding complex which triggers MRNA degradation in response to MRNA

I. INTRODUCTION
Hepatitis Inflammation of the liver that can be caused by
viruses , chemicals , drugs , alcohol , inherited diseases
,or the patient’s own immune system. Hepatitis may
occur with limited or no symptoms , but often leads
to jaundice, anorexia and malaise .Hepatitis is acute
when it lasts less than six months and chronic when it
persist longer.
Causes;
The most common cause of viral hepatitis are the five
unrelated hepatotropic viruses , A , B, C ,D , E, and
Other viruses which can also cause hepatitis includes
; Herpes simplex , Cytomegalo virus , Epstein
Barr virus , Yellow fever.

Liver function tests;
Groups of clinical biochemistry laboratory blood assays
designed to give information about the state of a patient's
liver.
They are indicative of:
1) liver inflammation: ALT and AST.
2) Cholestasis or biliary obstruction bilirubin (total, direct),
ALP, GGT
3) synthetic function: albumin, PT.
Viral hepatitis with its different serotypes are known to
have various extent of effects on the liver function tests.
Aim of the study
The aim of this study is to find the effect of each type
of viral hepatitis whether A , B ,C , or E on the bilirubin
(TB , DSB) , and liver enzymes; AST, ALT, ALP,GGT
among viral hepatitis patients.
II. INDIVIDUALS AND METHODS
200 patients were selected from the viral hepatitis units
all the chosen cases were surveyed for different types
of viral hepatitis measured by ELISA and ELFA
methods which was confirmed as a positive samples
where they are classified into four equal group each with
fifty individual and with a single serological viral
hepatitis type either; anti-HAV( IgM ) , HBs Ag , anti-
HCV ,or anti-HEV(IgM ). All patients were tested for;
serum bilirubin ( TB ,D.SB ) , AST , ALT , ALP , GGT
, which are measured indirectly by using a
spectrophotometer method. Another fifty quite healthy
and normal person was selected as a control group.
III. RESULTS
Table (1). General descriptive statistics for the liver
enzymes and bilirubin, their number, mean± SD with the
maximum and minimum values.

IV. DISCUSSION
A number of pitfalls can be encountered in the
interpretation of common blood liver function tests:
1. Normal LFTs do not always mean that the liver is
normal.
2. They often, but not always, indicate that something is
wrong with the liver.
3. They can provide clues to the nature of the problem.
4. Transaminases are the most sensitive indicators of
hepatic cell injury.
Unfortunately (85%) HCV people are free of any
symptoms , usually they are discovered because the liver
enzymes in their blood are above normal limits , and
their doctors do more blood tests to find the cause , or
they are discovered during their donation for blood in
blood bank and this is also true for HBV as (15%) of the
patients can easily passed unnoticed as some of them
have no outward signs or symptoms , and others do
experience just "flu-like" symptoms.
The present study illustrate the significant changes in
the values of the main hepatic markers in different
types of viral hepatitis which was noticed
mainly in HAV and HEV more than in the HCV
and HBV (Table5) , a hallmark results that can easily
be explained on the fact that the hepatocyte necrosis
results in the leakage of enzymes into the circulation .
While liver cell death with HBV and HCV occurs by

apoptosis (programmed cell death) as well as by
necrosis which presumably synthesize less AST and
ALT as they wither away. This probably explains why at
least one third of patients infected with hepatitis C
virus have persistently normal serum ALT, AST levels
despite the presence of inflammation on liver biopsy.
Thus, AST and ALT lack some sensitivity in detecting
HCV, HBV and mild elevations of ALT or AST in
asymptomatic patients can be evaluated efficiently by
considering , hepatitis B, hepatitis C.ALT is relatively
specific for hepatocyte necrosis with a marked elevations
in viral hepatitis (Table 2, Fig. B).
AlP and GGT levels typically rise to several times the
normal level after several days of bile duct obstruction or
intrahepatic cholestasis , Both AlP and GGT levels are
elevated in about 90% of patients with this study were
we found mildly to Moderately elevated ALP and GGT
due to hepatocyte necrosis in combination with some
intrahepatic cholestasis specifically in HAV and HEV
(Tab 4, Fig C ).
Viral hepatitis is one of the main causes of
hyperbilirubinemia whether it is direct or indirect fraction
of bilirubin. Actually, both categories of bilirubin was
elevated in all serotypes of viral hepatitis yet it
was also more prominent in HAV and HEV (Table 2,
Fig A).
V. CONCLUSION
1. Liver enzymes and bilirubin changes are more
pronounced in HAV, HEV than HCV and HBV.
2. AST and ALT lack some sensitivity in detecting HCV
,HBV and mild elevations of ALT or AST in
asymptomatic patients can be evaluated efficiently by
considering ,hepatitis B, hepatitis C.
3. ALT is generally a more sensitive indicator of acute
liver cell damage than AST, It is relatively specific for
hepatocyte necrosis with a marked elevations in viral
hepatitis.
