Virtual desktop assembly involves securing the power supply and connecting it to other components like the motherboard, hard drive, and disk drive. RAM slots into place and clips in, while the CPU places into position and has the heat sink screwed on top with thermal compound applied. The motherboard screws into place and adapter cards slot in and screw into the correct bus slots. The hard drive and disk drive insert and screw in, connecting to the motherboard via SATA or PATA cables. Finally, the monitor connects via VGA cable and peripherals like keyboard, mouse, and network card antenna plug in.

2. Power supply unit
• To add the power supply slot it in place and
secure with screws
• Connect the power supply to the
motherboard, hard drive and disk drive

3. RAM
• Place the RAM in the allotted slot and then
clip then in

4. CPU
• Place the prosser in the correct position
• Fold the clip down then the pin
• Then place thermal compound on the CPU

5. Heat sink
• Place the heat sink on top of the prosser
• Screw in place then connect it to the
motherboard

6. motherboard
• Place the motherboard in the right place then
screw it in

7. Adapter cards
• Place the card in the right bus slot and then
screw in place

8. Hard Drive
• Insert the hard drive then screw in place with
screws
• Connect it to the mother bored with the SATA
cable

9. Disk Drive
• Place the disk drive in the external bay then
screw in place
• Connect the disc drive to the motherboard
with a PATA cable

10. Monitor
• Connect the VGA cable to the computer and
then the monitor

11. Other peripherals
Keyboard/mouse:
• Plug the mouse/keyboard into the back of the
tower
• screw the antenna into the network card at
the back
