2. OBJECTIVE
To Plan, Analysis and Design G+3
Residential building.
To learn and acquire knowledge on
analysis of the Multi-storey Residential
building using STAADpro.
To ensure the structural design of
building using Energy conservation
concept.
3. NEED FOR THE PROJECT
Space Scarcity
Energy Conservation .
To reduce the consumption of bricks and
cement in building and there by to reduce
the CO emissions to the atmosphere, SIP
can be used for partition walls.

10. SPECIFICATIONS AS PER
NBC
Colouring provided on the plan as per
table2 of NBC.
The minimum height of Habitat room and
the kitchen is provided as2.75m as per
code
The min height of the bathroom and
water closets from the surface is kept as
2.1m as per code.
The height of Parapet wall and handrails
provided at the balcony and terrace is
not less than 1.0m as per code .

group housing is calculated as per
code from Table 4.
The minimum width of staircase is not
less than 1.0m for residential building
.
The above mentioned data and values
are taken from the NBC .We are using
this values for our project .

20. STRUCTURAL INSULATED
PANEL
The structural insulated panel is a
composite building material. It consists of
an insulating layer of rigid core
sandwiched between two layers of
structural board . The board can be sheet
metal, plywood, cement and the core
either expanded as (EPS) Expanded
polystyrene form or (OSB) oriented strand
board .
