The Design Cycle
Steps of the design cycle

Investigate
Plan (includes two parts Design and
Plan)
Create
Evaluate
Investigate

First Identify the problem or goal you are trying to
reach. What are you looking to accomplish?Who is your
audience for the project?

Try and understand what it is you want to
accomplish, usually there is a GRASPS or guidelines that tell
you what is needed so read that.

Try and make a design brief and show how you are going to
solve your problem this can help save time as you already
have an idea of what you want and need to do.
English Assesment
This is your goal:

Here is our audience:

And this is what you need to accomplish:

Remember what your aim is and don’t lose sight of it.
English Assesment

With those goals in mind i started researching for info
about the topic at hand.I chose People Power over
Martial law because i felt that i had a better
understanding of it.

If there are choices for topics to do,use one that you
have better understanding of or whichever you’re
more comfortable with as it’s hard for you to use
something that isn’t recognizable to you.
Cause and Effect Essay

I also made a draft so
that i could have a
guide and something to
start off with, the
teacher also check the
draft so i would be able
to correct my mistakes.
Design
 Step 2
Design

Design is where you come up with how your going to
do the task at hand. Also, set up how you’re going to
do the work .For example separating the tasks and
splitting them so as to ease the workload and to
separate them from most important to least.
Intro
For the first step i decided to that i will
do my intro first because it is easier to
make and it sets the tone for the rest of
my essay so i have decided to focus on
it first. This will be followed by doing
some parts of my conclusion and since
you can’t really finish a conclusion with
out the details i will do the body then
          finish up the conclusion.
Plan

Planning is where you set the base of your work.

Your draft should be made during this step as it will
help you when doing the final draft because you will
have a guide.

Set a schedule so that you will be able to do your
work smoothly and won’t be so stressed.
Using the research i have gotten i start coming up
with ideas i can use in my essay and plan when i will
start with the essay and how my schedule will be like.
Create

This is the part where you start doing the project
itself. This is where all the research you have been
doing goes to (or most of it).

Start off with what you have set up in your schedule
and stick to it.

Make sure you don’t slack off so that things don’t get
delayed and you end up cramming.
Here is my final Essay i’ve done the
intro,body and conclusion.
Evaluation
For this part check if what you’ve done has met the
requirements needed from your project.

Read the GRASPS and make sure you’ve gone over
it.

Review your product and see if it’s good, you could
even have others review it to see if your product is
good.

If they give feedback then try and see if they’re
feedback is helpful and make the necessary
adjustments.
