2. Hello fellow High School students!
My name is Bradley Lao of Grade 8
section C and today I will be talking
about why the design cycle can be
helpful during many assessments.
So first, let me first define what the
design cycle is.

3. The design cycle has 5
parts which are
Investigate, Design, Plan,
Create and Evaluation.

4. Investigate
Investigate is a part in which you must either identify the
problem, to research, and to identify the importance and
explain why you are doing it or another way meaning is you
must first familiarize the problem. After that, research as
much as you can so that more ideas will be put in the vlog
or for choosing. Next is your suppose to identify the
importance or why you are doing it.

5. Design
• Next is the design. In the design, you must give
possible solutions and after that, choose the
best best one. You must also contain products
containing descriptions and details.

6. Plan
• In the plan part, you must think carefully
on how you will do it or make it. After that
you should compare your plans with
design.

7. Create
• In the create stage, now you must start
constructing the thing you want to do like a
video blog and others because you already
know what to do and you prepared and made
lots of adjustments, so begin constructing.

8. Evaluate
• The last and final step of the design cycle is the
evaluation. In this step, you should ask
yourself, other people to evaluate your work like
how well did you do the video blog and how it
became very creative and accurate. You should
also ask what change you made to make the
video very successful.

9. As I evaluate my performances during
the stages, it really felt hard at the start
but as I kept on practicing, I realize that
these helped me a lot especially in my
assessments. But I can also improve
some parts of it to make it better like
putting more research and sources which
will have more details. In the plan
part, you must think carefully on how you
will do it or make it. After that you should
compare your plans with design.

10. As you do the Investigate part, I recommend that you think
well first before making it like decide on the sources you want to
use. The more the research, the better the grade will be. In the
design part, I recommend you giving a lot of solutions so that u
wont have to change anymore and it is easier for you to choose
what is best because you already have many solutions and you
can choose one that is best and will best fit the problem or the
thing you are going to do. In the plan part, I recommend you plan
a lot of things and bring a lot of materials so that if you want to
make changes again, it is easier for you to make another plan. In
the create part, I recommend you make your final decisions
before making it, so that you don't have to change again and
again. Lastly I highly recommend you evaluate your vlog as
honestly as possible. Make sure to also ask lots of people like
your teachers and friends to help evaluate your vlog if it is
already alright or still needs to be a little bit improve on.

11. In conclusion, I think when I
made this, this design cycle really
helped me a lot, for it gave me
better scores, better
understanding, not to
complicated, and did not give me a
difficult time. So if it did not make
my works bad, then that means
yours wont also and will be better.
