This document details the design and development of a microstrip patch antenna optimized for the L-band frequency range of 1-2 GHz. Using IE3D software for simulation, the study evaluates parameters such as return loss, gain, and radiation patterns, culminating in the fabrication and testing of the antenna with results indicating efficacy in specifications. The findings demonstrate that the fabricated antenna closely matches the simulated performance, which was assessed through rigorous testing in an anechoic chamber.
