“I’m more prepared, in some aspects, after under graduation to my actual job. But maybe
I think that because I’m more mature now…”
“When I was in college I didn't know what I wanted to do, I didn’t know what I was going
to work with. If I knew back then, maybe I was going to pay more attention to the
assignments that were more productive to my actual job now”
“Working as an intern during college was very constructive to my job, I learn things that
you don’t learn at school…. Things like how to act with your boss, how to take/make
feedbacks…”
“Learning is one thing, putting into action and being really evaluated (with your job at
risk), is a completely other situation”
“Sometimes I get myself thinking that 4 years is too long, and maybe if I was more mature
back then when I entered school, everything was going to be different… I think I would
have gone to another school in another course…”
“We stay too long studying, and then working, we don’t have much time for ourselves
and our thoughts, we don’t have any time at all… There is so mush pressure of society…
you need to study, now you need to work, then you need to get married… children…
OMG!”
“I really like my job, and I’m good at it… but I don’t think that my four years of under
graduation degree made me good at my job. It was only a time to be more mature before
getting an actual job…

“People waste time being inside the social guide/system
(school-college-work)”
“One think is being mature, another is being educated”
“Being more prepared for work is not equal having more
diplomas”
“Sticking to the social guide/system can leave you to the
wrong way”
“Working is how you learn how to work”
“Internship is the first step to see how the real world of work
really works”
“Getting into college after you already know what you want to
do of living can be more constructive”
THINK Empathy Map
“I wasted my time”
“I should have gone to college when I was more mature”
“After college I should have enjoined more life and not stick
with the system”
“I’m so pressured by society”
“I don’t have time to think what I really want”
“I need to make what the others are doing, if I don’t I’m
going to stay behind”
“People are judge by their diplomas”
“You get experience working, not studying

Recent under graduated worker, that is already enrolled in a graduation program
Joanna needs a way to feel free of responsibilities that are dictated by society but in a way
that she doesn’t feel getting behind other people
Getting behind other people is seen as not having much diplomas, instead of work
experience
